Any folks in a "hard water" area and a steam iron this is a must have. esp. if you are amazon Prime.

• "No Rush" available so can cost 15p !

amazon Review:

"We use this for our iron, even though it has a decalcifier. Why? Even when using decalcifiers on previous irons, I still found that after a while they would expel limescale from the water holes, which would mark clothing.

I find it easier to avoid the limescale problem entirely by using deionised water (which cannot, by definition, produce any limescale)."

fair play yes - also when diluting car screenwash concentrate using the water from a dehumidifier or de-ionised water should help to avoid any build up of limescale in the pump, tubing and water jets.

Can also use filtered water for the iron, if you have a filtered water jug or tap. Have not faced limescale issues since (over a year now).

£1 credit for iBooks-music if not in a rush :-)

i just use the water from my condensing tumble dryer, needs straining but have been using it for two year in my intellijet iron and not had to change the filter yet
