Great deal for £10 but bear in mind the reviews on Traveladvisor for most of these places are pretty poor. Brilliant if you need to be somewhere though.

Thanks, just booked at Peebles so I can shop at the January sales in Edinburgh all weekend..cost £20 for both of us!! Cheers, have a great xmas!!

ah right , ive got it now thanks , that was about the only weekend i hadnt tried so far

do you have to get a taxi from the edingburgh..are there any buses that go out there..i am thinking of the cost of a 45 minute taxi ride
thanks

Obviously they don't want children staying there at this price, I tried a room for 3 for £10 first but no luck, then to get around it tried two rooms but if you add a child to either room it won't allow it but will allow two rooms for an adult in each.

If anyone can work out a way of getting a family of 3 in for £20 let me know.

Just found a bus that goes from Peebles to Edinburgh and it says it takes little under an hour and runs every 30 mins..62 a, b and c and the journey is very picturesque apparently..peebles.info/ind…ion

thanks

First time on but here we go - ive tried booking at the St Davids Park but it says day by day prices coming soon. Go to book anyway and it gives the normal price. Any ideas.

I stayed at Wokefield Park in Reading a couple of years ago and the hotel and bedrooms were extremely basic - perhaps 2 or 3 star standard - but at £10.00, it is exceptional value for money!

I booked St Davids Park for last weekend in January - just eneterd the dates and i came up with the £10 a night offer - great value!!!

Thanks Op got 3 rooms for my daughters birthday weekend in Feb.

get in 2 nights in Greenwich on the last week of december £20 get in!

:-D Fantastic-just booked two weekends away. Can't wait. Brill deal.Thank you:thumbsup:

St. David's Park is popular it seems...booked it for a friday night mid-Jan...was about to book the travelodge down the road for £19 so this is great timing

Does anyone know the difference between classic rooms and standard rooms...i decided it wasn't worth the extra £10 for just one night, but would be interested in any prior experience for future reference (oddly there's no Gallery for St. David's Park on the De Vere website)

Excellent offer. Got a night in January to relax after New Year!

thanks just got a weekend in Southampton at xmas although knowing my luck i will get a call with my opperation dates for that week lol

Great deal - well done - weekend away here we come.............

Sunningdale do a family room. Just booked 2 adults 2 kids. They have fold away beds and room for cots. Enjoy.

See post 38

We've stayed at quite a few DeVere hotels in the past and some have been fantastic (i.e Mottram Hall in Cheshire) and some not so great (i.e. St David's Park near Chester).
Its definately worth looking up on their website and trying to work out whether the venue is mainly for corporate conferences or not. If dirt cheap then fair enough why not, but we found St David's was very convenient for a few nice days in Chester but that the rooms were basic and the "feel" of the place was a bit Holiday Inn compared to the standard of Mottram Hall. I'm only going into detail because the poster a few posts up wanted to know, I'm not trying to rubbish the deal that people have got because I still think its FANTASTIC value for anything under £40 if you want to explore the area.

waste of time, dumb web site click on £10 room only gives £75. v cold brrrrrrr
