Sounds good, ive been trying to find a present for my partner and this might be it.

Nice deal for a break.

What the hell is 'full Scottish Breakfast'?
Is that like a full English breakfast that can be ordered without contempt by scots?
Or maybe the bacon is replaced with Haggis?

:whistling::whistling:

A good deal indeed. I am looking for something similar in September.

as far as i know its the same only we have a black pudding instead of tomato. Tattie scone instead of hash browns and squared sausages instead of links. But it varies depending on where you get it. Some places add in haggis as well. also white pudding

Scottish breakfast is just the same really as English breakfast. Pity most dates are sold out

Not sure of the exact deal, but DeVere hotels are part of the BritTrips points on Walkers Crisps packets.

NOOOO!!!!! The tattie scone makes all the difference in itself!!

Breakie ain't complete without it. :-D

sounds good but why is it being classified as expired?

Because this site is full of idiots who can't read a post in its entirety in order to work out why the deal isn't working for them.

In this case it may also be to do with their booking facility going balls-up earlier this afternoon.

Full Scottish breakfast will generally include haggis, most 4* + hotels will serve haggis.

that ain't no Scottish castle...its a pimped up hotel....get on the travelodge deals!!lol

deVere venues are usually bloody amazing. i have a timeshare at cameron house in loch lomond and all of their resorts are 5 star, massive gyms, brilliant (but expensive) food, bang and olufson tellys/steroes in every room with sky plus you can gowalkinbg the grounds or do dozens of fun activities. think this one ahs a driving range as well

Great deal for Mountain Bikers.
Glentress & Innerleithan are just around the corner and they are 2 of the best Mountain Bike Trail Centres in Europe.

When i try to book it it gives some error in the connection. is just me or is happening with everyone?

Im Scottish and never see haggis included in the breakfasts, be it at a cafe, bar, Haven holidays or a hotel.

So perhaps its just the "better" hotels

I stayed there about 4 years ago. It used to be some kind of training college (ambulance service I think) & confrence centre. At the time you could only stay there at weekends as it was used during the week for training purposes. It's not a pimped up hotel but an old 15th century mansion. The grounds are lovely & the breakfasts where superb. It's a bit in the middle of nowhere so you will need a car although there is a bustop at the end of the very long drive that'll take you into Edinburgh about 40 mins away.

I was about to book this.. but then changed my mind after reading reviews on laterooms.com.
apparently rooms are small and not well decorated, they are comparing this with travellodge... i will give it a miss

location is great, shame rooms are not of De Vere quality. Anyone who has stayed at any other De Vere Venue will tell you the same. This deal is hardly hot for 2 adults, unless you are a family of 4...

I Can Stay In Any Devre Hotel For £35 A Night With Breakfast, But Only Cos I Work There, So This Is A Really Good Deal, Voted Hot

Shame this isn't available on the proper De Vere hotels...the venues are not that nice (like Warbrook House between the M3 and M4) and are used mainly for business and conferences

I work for the Scottish Ambulance Service, and yes this place is still used / hired as a training venue through the week by the service (Monday to Fridays), it is used at weekends as a hotel probably why dates selected through the working week are not available.

Just booked me and the wife for 2 nights mid week. Looking forward to a week off work and some peace and quiet and maybe a day in Edinburgh.:-D

Thanks
