Dead Island 2 got leaked with new images and a release date of February 3rd 2023, presumably to be re-revealed at Gamescom 2022 next week. This seems like the best deal to get the game cheap on PC before the official announcement jacks up the price to CDKeys' usual price of £36.99 and whatever price it may be on Steam/Epic. It might be worth noting that this has the potential to end up as an Epic Games Store exclusive, so the steam key part may not be accurate until the official reveal.

    I had to stare at the title for a few seconds thinking, 2? Didn't that happen...wait nooooo, it's that game you forgot if it happened or not because its been forever haha. I loved the first game. Couldn't really get into Riptide. Unsure what 2 will be like but hope this actually does come out and is good lol (edited)

    What are we up to now with this game? 8 years since the E3 2014 reveal, and it's been through 5 different developers. Nothing seen of it since that E3 video, and that version of the game got rejected by Deep Silver.

    I enjoyed DI and Riptide, but this game isn't getting any money from me until it is actually released and others have played it to review it. At this point Deep Silver are just trying to recoup something from their investment before it is a total write-off.

    Yeah I was burned with DL2 I have this preordered years If I can find the receipt but I probably won't buy it until someone sells it on ebay

    Just watched Gamescom tonight, I seen this game on everything but Steam from all the logos at the end of the video?? Bit alarming that this is still on CD Keys lol. Hmm.

    Game actually looks amazing though. You all seen the new trailer and actual gameplay?

    Dead Island 2 was arguably Dying Light, as that’s where the developer (Techland) ended up.
