Hot from me. Dead Space is one of my favourite games so looking forward to this, and best price yet.

Never used Bee.com, anyone know if they're reliable?

They recently cancelled a lot of DVD orders without advising why - but other people have had success... this is a good price and if you want to take a gamble I'd say go for it - but don't get your hopes up too much

It can only be said once though Normally I'm too slow to find any bargains but I preordered this straight away

Wasn't keen on the demo seemed just the same again as the first one

It doesn't come with Dead Space Extraction so you're missing out on a full Wii game remade in HD that will sell on the PSN store for probably £11.99.

I think the demo was aimed more at getting new players than making the old ones happy which is wrong I know but I think that's the case. I wasn't thrilled by the demo but hopefully the final product is great. I'm sure it will be. I refuse to pay more than £30 for a game so that's why I preordered this.

All credit to the OP for offering us the deal, but these muppets are the same who run SainsburysEntertainment and I wouldn't order if it was half this price. I ordered an Xbox, it was cancelled. Ordered Iron Man 2, was then emailed to tell me it was not stocked 7 days later to then recieve an email to tell me it had been posted 3 days later. That was 3 weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. Also recieved a £10 code off them over the Xbox fiasco, so ordered another DVD for the missus, that was 4 weeks ago, still not arrived and had no reply to my email. Complete joke.

DS1 was superb. Turn the lights off, crank the sound up and prepare to SH*T YOUR PANTS! lol

it has got multiplayer

Yes it has

Indeed it has got multiplayer

Doesnt look very good though

the game itself doesnt look too good i enjoye dthe first one but the demo looks like not much has changed ,graphics are starting to look a bit dated

Going to contender for GOTY for me alongside Test Drive Unlimited 2.

First Dead Space is one of my most favourite games! Best Horror game, better than Resident Evil 4 even.

I know, right? If it's a good deal we'll vote hot. If it's not, we'll vote cold. It being their first deal isn't going to automatically make us vote hot

Was in the Beta for Multiplayer, surprisingly excellent.

Good deal, but I'll pay extra for the SE which has extraction

whats it like for delivery, store not the game

think i will wait til it's been out a few weeks, bought fallout new vegas on pre order and that was selling for 17 quid a month later!

I literally just finished playing Dead Space Extraction on the Wii, and it is excellent - will be great with Move.

I would personally look for a deal on the SE, which includes DS:E, if you are a PS3 user.

yea ill wait a month and buy it for 17.99

will await a few reviews before parting with 30 quid!

or wait a few months and buy it for a tenner lol

Yeah, this isn't much a deal if you want both and will have to buy the game separately.

seems like a good price to me,but i have never ordered from bee.com,so i think ill wait to see if it becomes cheaper on one of my more frequently used sites.

Save your pennies for uncharted 3 peeps!!

I still can't beat the Leviathan on the first one, so no way am I going to buy this

Mamboboy, it's the best horror game available, how can it get any better? Also the graphics are much improved. What TV are you playing on? =S

Because that also fits into the game horror genre? Lol

But does Xbox Magazine give anything a bad review? I'm sorry but 94/100 … But does Xbox Magazine give anything a bad review? I'm sorry but 94/100 is an absolute joke - I remember years ago it would be a rarity to ever see a title get over 90% (Half-Life for example). A game that moulds new genre's, creates new benchmarks for other titles to follow on from. From playing the demo I can tell a game with copy and pasted corridors, bland textures and no graphical improvements over Dead Space 1 does definitely NOT deserve that kinda rating.

They do give bad reviews - just they only seem to rate between 70-100%.

So 94% is really like 24/30 = 80%

Demo wasn't up to much but will still play this. True tho people are refusing to buy games at full price these days especially just after xmas, will drop fast imo.

Don't forget the demo wasn't that great for the first game and it turned out to be excellent. As for the graphics, dated? nothing wrong with them.

mamboboy

Demo was poor. Walking down different levels which all looked exactly the … Demo was poor. Walking down different levels which all looked exactly the same, and then you get a stupid puzzle. Didn't find the original scary either... you get too much guns/ammo. A game needs a certain feeling of desperation to be scary IMO (System Shock 2, Amnesia, Penumbra) and you never feel that in Dead Space. My tip: hold out before buying. No multiplayer so it'll be £19.99 not long after release. Probably a month or so..

My tip, don't listen to this guy.

Firstly, you're wrong about it not having multiplayer. That shows your lack of interest in it (not knowing about multiplayer as it was announced ages ago) and that's probably because you never enjoyed the first. You're also very wrong about inventory. You are limited to ammo. And there are only about 6 different weapons. How is that too much?

There's no load times whatsoever if you don't die in this game. The original was intense. Definitely one of the best games on 360. Check out game websites and customer reviewers.

Not sure about bee.com but this is the best price I've seen. Hot!

Many thanks, kewlguitarist! A great price for a highly anticipated title. We've featured this deal on Dealspwn, HUKD's gaming blog.

Loved the first and loved the demo of this one but as usual this will go on my lovefilm rental list. Good price for those desperate to pre order.

And none of us can save another £40 in 10months lol

btw I can hear what mamboboy is saying; Dead Space 1 wasn't that scary. It was a POPULAR scary game, and therefore it was named the scariest game ever just because people haven't heard of waaaay scarier games. I found DS1 boring and I dropped it after a couple of hours, but I can understand why people liked it. And my opinion is as long as it stays third-person it'll never be as scary as it could.

Check out the Japanese Fatal Frame series. Tense as hell. Or Forbidden Siren. And the Silent Hills are also much, much scarier than DS.

Saying that I'm tempted by this deal by the Left4Dead-style multiplayer. Anyone know if Bee would deliver for day of release? All I hear is bad things about them

I just think for me it was creepy, intense, and you could choose which limb to dismember. I think it was purely awesome for that reason.

I have always wandered about Forbidden Siren, ever since I saw a trailer for the first one YEARS back. All I remember is someone with bleeding eyes. That freaked the hell out of me.
