Great price, hopefully will get patched soon to sort out frame rate
youtube.com/wat…ofw

It's a fundamentally broken game in it's current state unfortunately.

I'm very tempted to bite but I wont until the frame rate is sorted. Upsetting because this was one of my anticipated games of the year
It dropped to this price on Amazon yesterday but obviously doesn’t have the 6 months Spotify there.

A patch is in works: videogameschronicle.com/new…ch/
I can’t consider buying this even if it’s patched. I want to play it but My backlog on Switch is getting to critical level. I started God Eater 3 earlier and realised I can never play all the games I own. When Nintendo release the next Switch it better be backwards compatible!

You’d have thought they would have brought this game out on anything but the Switch really

It would at least come in a proper envelope however
The fact that Curry’s only uses a plastic bag sometimes puts me off from ordering from them. But it’s great they are creating some new competition and forcing Amazon to react

Who the hell allowed that to ship in that state?

Glad i played the original 360 version of the first game as theyve slated it releasing on everything else in that video too.

Haha I know that feeling too well. I also have got Godeater 3. Struggled to find in many places and went against my comfort zone and bought at Coolshop for about £45. Not been played yet. Keep meaning too but get sidetracked with other games. It is or was on sale with the eshop recently for a fraction of the price. Still much prefer physical though if I can.

Yes, God Eater 3 is £16 on the eshop right now.

Yeah I got it off eshop yesterday. Soon as I put it on I knew it was a huge game. I had just pre-ordered Crysis and Carrion too. I almost bought Paper Mario earlier in the week but looked at the games on my memory card and realised it would be a pointless!
Good game. Yes, the graphics are a bit poor and framerate outside is abysmal, but it retains the charm of the first and the technical issues haven't really hampered my fun with it too much.

Yeah, same again. I have I think a 200gb card which is pretty much full. My old 128gb card I've now started using to put any digital games on it. Can't afford to buy another new bigger SD card- keep spending it on too many games!

I ended up having to get a 512gb card a while ago. Even with that I have to uninstall when I get a new game. It doesn’t help when I buy a physical copy of Bioshock and need to free up over 30gb. I think Nintendo needs to use HDDs on Switch 2

Does this game have some kind of hypnotic control over people who play it? It runs like garbage but apparently it's still enjoyable. Near enough everyone who has played it says something very similar. How is a game fun when it is so fundamentally broken on a technical level?

If you can get in to the world and characters then you kind of forget about the technical side of things. It is like a B movie with charm, weirdness and campness and a very visible low budget.

It definitely isn't for everyone and I'd recommend playing the original first. I think the first is the better game in almost every way, so far.
