Deadly Premonition Directors Cut Gold Edition PSN sale £6

Rising Star games are having a 10 year anniversary sale and are celebrating by giving 70% off all their games or 80% if you are a PS+ member.

The EU store has not updated yet but if you don't believe me than here is the proof of the sale. Note the bit that says they are having a sale across US and EU starting 2/9/14-16/9/14.

gamersftw.co.uk/ps-…70/

More proof for you because the US store updates a day earlier than us they have the discounts already up on their store.

According to my calculator 70% off = £6 sale price 80% off = £4 sale price. That's a cracking deal for this game and the gold edition comes with all the worthless dlc for the same price as the ordinary version (that's the ridiculous PSN pricing for you). Under Defeat will be also on sale but the original PSN price is a joke so not worth a mention.

Just a tip but knowing the scum that is SCEE they will most likely chuck this on PS+ 2 minutes after this has been on sale. They're good like that, that is having their customers right over.

Update

I've been keeping an eye on EU PSN store and it has just updated to £6 and SCEE (otherwise known as scum) have not applied the other 10% discount for PS+. Not surprised they have pulled this stunt before most famously with the PixelJunk sale. In the US they were on sale for $1 and SCEE got caught out because the dev tweeted SCEE wouldn't have none of it and wouldn't allow the EU the same deal. Instead we got a sale but were paying 3-4 times what the US were. That's SCEE/SCUM through and through, looking after their number one EU customers by shafting them.

Great price for this game, definitely buying when it's live.

He has a point when it comes to the indies, most of the decent ones have been on there at some point.
Has anyone played this? Heard it's one of them games you will either fall in love with or hate.

Voted hot for the price

Which is also mentioned in every single review...however some of them still review it well
Been looking forward to trying this. At this price it's instabuy. A unique experience that I'm keen to give a chance.

This is a fairly old game so it's unlikely that it'll be coming out on PS+, I say go for it.
It's not going to be £4. £5.99 for the Gold version or £8.99 for the standard (not including PS+ discount)

So the version with considerably more content costs considerably less..

It holds the world record for 'most critically polarising survival horror game'.

I think its fantastic, Twin Peaks-esque, weird, charming all in one. The shooting gameplay and some other mechanisms are ropey, but the game creates what feels like a living town. All the citizens move around, interacting with one another, it's quite unique.

It's a love or hate game, but I loved it.

i have not played alan wake, but i have read up on the references. they are more subtle in alan wake, and it is a more linear type game. Deadly Premonition, practically every other thing in the game references twin peaks, to the names of places/objects - the music - storylines, characters, etc. There are even cherry pie and coffee and all those small references (huge ice cream on the cafe counter, etc.) i have just started playing this game again and i intend to finish it this time !
OP, you banged on a bit about the extra 10% PS+ discount.

Just to let you know, the extra 10% is always at the publishers discretion.
best game of the last gen. has bendy over zombies. so hot
what do we think Zach? Hmm this coffee is good............

What a game. forger the graphics and slow start, this game is awesome.

Manic miner and jet set willy have pretty plop graphics, bad frame rate and dross controls.......they also take 20 mins to load......but when they have loaded its a bucket full of fun served up with pints of gameplay. My point is if the game is good graphics, frame rate and controls mean diddly squat.
alan wake story is nonsense. even though the controls are good its soo boring. in deadly premonition the graphics are terrible, driving and finding things on the map are a joke. but its still a great game.
Might want to put the format in the title, as the deal tags are showing PS4 which might confuse some.
Decided to give it a shot at 6 quid. Enjoying it so far, controls are a bit poor and the frame rate is bad. But hasn't affected the game too much. Has a certain unique feel to it, well worth the price.
Great game. First time in a long time a games story has been so engaging.

But now back to the facerolling plotless action of Diablo 3.
