Yes but given that a large proportion of people when buy blu-ray would download ultra violet copy and watch from that anyway it's a good deal. digital download not restricted to having to be connected to blu-ray player

preordered using code with wuaki for 4.99, doesn't everyone use their half price codes that way??

No DTS-HD master audio and much lower bit rate for the video compared to Blu-ray. No Slipcase or Steelbook or extra goodies. I don't understand why anyone would want a film on digital file.

same price on Google Play Movies and Amazon Instant Video

Does this deal work for some people? Yes.
Is it cheaper elsewhere? No.

Therefore it's a hot deal. Either vote hot or ignore, the cold votes are just spiteful really.

Heat, thanks

Who in their right mind would buy a Blu-ray but download the UV and watch from that vastly inferior format "anyway"? Sure, UV is handy for your tablets & smartphones but HD streaming & downloads just don't have the picture quality contained on physical media like Blu-ray.

Thanks for those that have acknowledged that I was trying to point out a deal for some - to those that have voted cold for no reason - that is why I am reluctant to post here - seems a little petty at times. Needless to say more cold votes will be heading this way!

Don't let going cold discourage you. It happens to us all. It's a good forum though with some expert opinion. With this deal, it was a keen price, but went cold due to format and being available at the same price elsewhere.
