Macbook Pro 13" with Retina Display (2015). Not a price everyone would want to pay but those who need a Macbook... A deal is defined by percentage decrease not price

I don't want to buy it or any apple product but I need it

Still waiting for John Lewis price match

Thank you much appreciated. I tried getting a response from ask thread but knew this would be cold... guess a deal is not defined by % discount but by price oO

This is a decent discount but again its a MAC to many on here just vote cold as soon as they see the word Apple, MacBook etc in titles but happy to run around with their iPhones on £50 a month contracts...

What I wouldn't recommend is the scandalous trade in they offer people when bringing in a MacBook maybe worth £800 - £1000 on eBay, they offer you £200 - £350 or something crazy, scary thought the clueless people that take up those trade ins they offer on Macs.

I prefer my macbook without a rat in my display.

On the new models compared with the old, yup. What was galling was that Apple saw fit to adjust the exchange rate on the older models so that the £ price matched the current $ price but didn't account for any steep fall in production cost of older tech. Even the 3 year old Mac Pro that has never had any update went up £500. The price of this item should have fallen both in the US and the UK, even after the Brexit slump.

The worst thing is that refurbished items sold on Apple's store are now discounted from the new increased prices so that a refurb of this MacBook Pro that originally cost £999 is now more expensive as the refurb discount from £1249 (Apple's new price) is less than the price rise from £999.
