Thanks for sharing op.....
Sorry bud you're talking crap, as I said I have hands on experience with both devices of between 6-7 years. Meaning I OWN them both. Carry on reading drivel posted by other people that don't own them either, and whilst you're at it you might want to google battery issues with Samsung Galaxy Tab 2's its seriously a joke, and a design flaw that seems to have been built in - not to mentions the Samsung S7 phone which helped lower consumer energy prices, when new consumer phones started catching fire in peoples homes. Joker.
I'm not an expert, but I would not touch an iPad with a bargepole. They are GARBAGE. You might want to look up the current fiasco concerning batteries in iPads; Apple are updating older models to run slower due to the batteries cutting out. Samsung are far superior, and Apple use screens made by Samsung.
I'd avoid samsung tabs with a bargepole, had 2 samsung tab2's and both are dead with battery issues within 3 years....its only a matter of time before they go....whereas I've had an apple ipad2 since 2011, and its still going strong, 6.5 years later ! Its used heavily everyday, and the battery seems almost as good as when I first bought it
Open box, hmm
I had a huawei tablet years back when there were few others around (apart from Apple) and lots of people commented on how good it was for the money
I had one of these for a couple of days before sending it back. It's a very nice machine. Battery life was average at best. The glass back was alarming. It oozes quality but I'd want something no tablet can deliver to justify this price. I have an 8 inch Tab S2 as well and that hits every possible sweet spot. This doesn't somehow.
Nice devices but shame about the limitations of IOS; so personally would always go for Android..
Very true. Apps are better optimised for ipad and also iOS updates would surely be there for few years than android updates. Finally the resale value also holds good for ipads.
Yes, i agree. Android was intended for phones not tablets. I ended up with a Tab S2 for a good price off ebay and a very nice tablet it is too. I'd bought before the Pixel C was sold off at £299 and that would have been my first choice. I think android has more or less given up on the premium side of the market, hence the crazy prices. In comparison, the iPads are looking better value than ever and continue to sweep away all competition. At the cheapo end of the market it seems to be a race to the bottom by the android manufacturers.i.e. mediocre devices but cheap as chips.
I had the s3 for a week. It's a very fast tablet with beautiful screen and awful battery life with Samsung bloatware on it. The S pen is a great feature to have but not at this price point. I know it has fast charging so you end up charging the tablet everyday.. I have had the iPad air 2 for nearly 2 years and it still holds good. Excellent battery life and is fast. I returned the s3 and went for ipad pro 10.5. This is a beast. Excellent in all aspects. I know it's not cheap but why pay so much to buy a Samsung tablet which is not worth the price. Apple still is the king of tablet platform. P.S - writing it from my Samsung S8. Samsung still is the king of mobile platform (angel)
It was £200 on amazon yesterday sold by Hughes Direct and fulfilled by Amazon. this is £25 more dearer. Can't seem to currently find it on the phone, So not voting either way.
It is a bit thick but the other dyson machines tried such as the DC41 is fine so I can't see why.
https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/dyson-cinetic-big-ball-animal-cylinder-bagless-vacuum-cleaner-24999-currys-2823059#comments It's been this price for some time now :)
Are they fairly thick? Or do you have cloud 9 underlay?
Got one too but have you got the carpet brush head as when I use it, it is very hard to push on carpet just wanting to ask for other peoples opinons. Thanks
Bought it couple of weeks back. Excellent vaccum.
Good in depth review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsUEk6CPAGg
Currys don't have it.
ordered. I've heard these are not as good as surface, but the OLED screen is the best in business, and at this price I give it a go. the new version (Galaxy Book) is much improved and so much better but over £1200.
I have a 3rd party USB hub with mine (including hdmi too) got off Amazon for about £15 works grea
question which currys Has it?
but how bulky and heavy is your 6 years old Acer or that Asus in comparison? not saying these Samsungs are not overpriced but it's the ultra portable hybrid class, and as you said has an amazing OLED display..so very different product than those bulky and heavy standard laptops..
Benchmark on the processor is quite low at 3056. I have a 6 year old Acer running an i3 processor which has a similar score. Whilst this will have a lovely screen I think the price does not reflect the tech and looks like they are pricing at Surface comparative. It's not cheap enough for me especially as a decent second hand Asus flip running an i7 can be had at less than half this cost.
Yes that's true. It would be interesting to see how prices of the same tech are in Eastern Europe where people have less money (allegedly).
Blame the people that buy them. Same as Apple over pricing. Choose the equally good lower priced alternatives for yourself and be happy that you are not being sucked in by the marketing bs.
The sooner Samsung get someone with consumer sense to price their tabs and phones, the better for all. They are too expensive for what they are.
At this price you're surely better to seek out a refurb Tab S? Three years old but still better specs and likely to go cheaper now Tab S3 announced.
Was £53 a few months back something something time machine
eBay item number 401298796987 is £15 more for the 4G version or £150 ish from o2 on their refresh tariff which are also factory unlocked.

decent for the money
I have bought this TV to replace a Techwood TV in my living room.. Digihome and Techwood are made by the same company Vestel. I have had no complaints with the Techwood TV it is about 6 years old and still works great. So it is getting put in the bedroom. I received the Digihome TV today and tested it and everything Is working good. A couple of minor cosmetic marks but wont be seen when wall mounted. Only downfall is there is not any contact address or telephone number for the manufacturer, but if it works as well as the Techwood TV - you wouldn't need the information. It is a great price for a TV that looks good, with good picture and sound quality. Hope this is of some help to you.
Anyone used this TV before? If so what's the quality like?
Title needs amending to 20W + 30W sub
well I got it straight from the website :)
Very misleading title as this is 50W combined 'Infinity sound technology with total 50W output from 2x 10W speakers and 30W subwoofer'
So fantastic that these are returns: "This unit is a customer no fault return."
£184.95 now, plus delivery
extremely good price. probably a Vestel but nothing wrong with that
remember this is being sold as "new other"
Mine broke after 5 months. Deal buyer were really good with the return though. Arrived back at their site on 4th Jan and money back in my PayPal the next day. Good comms inc a courtesy call when they were processing it. Shame I had to pay for the return myself though - but it was in the t&cs. TV itself not much cop though!
lol up to £499.95inc VAT now. expired me thinks
The price is about average for a cheap 32". You could even get a full hd equivalent for another £20-30 in Curry's
£109.99 in Tescos Bidston Moss at the weekend. Sold like hot cakes.
cheers. but as previously mentioned the difference in build quality on these will be fairly significant. having a quick look at the dunelm mill one you can see that smoke/heat would escape fairly easily/fast through joins on the hood. it is a decent price for a drum BBQ but i don't imagine it holding heat particularly well so would make it a poor option for a smoker
different build but similar looking unit at Dunelm Mill for a fraction of the price
what a stupid comment, you dont ask people to buy a peogeot on a range rover deal do you. Both get you from A to B but a different class altogether.
cheers for feedback yep i have been on Ebay and saw different brands but none compare to this one IMHO. This is best price by a considerable amount for this brand- cheaper and inferior models will always be available all depends what you are looking for i suppose
I think this one on Amazon will do the same thing for a lot less: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00U07BKFC/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=11DF4B2L3MSHK&coliid=IX8JP9KBROBX4
Apart from that Finlux is a Smart TV and this one isn't
Crap comment. Pointless if you don't say why
I could be wrong but it looks like a rebadged Finlux 39FPD274B-T? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Finlux-39FPD274B-T-Full-Smart-Freeview/dp/B00O27UFHA/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1436480928&sr=1-1&keywords=finlux+39%22
digihome. Digyee get an extended warranty?
Toner cost? Cheapest I've seen is £45 approx
Got it from tesco for half of that price a couple of months ago. Well worth money.
It is in my opinion as it is brand new not refurbished and and top sound quality with optical so can be used with most TVs, PC etc!
This is discontinued isn't it? It came out about 3 yrs ago. Is it still a good deal?
