Days gone is an absolutely amazing game. I regretted buying it first Christmas when it was reduced but I am now on my way to platinum in it for this price it is a must buy one of the best games I've ever played and I've been gaming since the mid 90s

Have i missed the boat for Death Stranding? i know that it uses a lot of time sensitive multiplayer elements, like roads built etc... is that a huge deal in the opinion of the people that played it

Not missed the boat at all imo. Most structures built by yourself or other players degrade over time. But it takes absolutely hours for it to be destroyed. I built a generator at the start of the game, and at the end (60 hours later) it was still only half degraded. Plus everything can be repaired and restored if you want. Signs dont break at all. And your world will never truly be empty of other players structures because, everytime you load in, they refresh and cycle in other people's objects.

But to be honest, sometimes there can be too much of other players stuff, just littering the world. Like some people leave vehicles in the way of doors for example. A lot of people actually prefer it before you connect an area to the network, so its empty and singleplayer

Haven't been on the past few weeks but I doubt it. The way the asynchronous multiplayer works each time you boot up you're put in a small server of people who have played the game recently and thus access to some of the stuff they've built. Which means as long as the game doesn't dwindle below like 30 players per week it's always going to be fine (probably still tens of thousands+) - and even there they can probably just start tuning how long structures last so that it's less an issue if someone hasn't been on in a long time and they still show up for you.

The game is also fully playable without that (I watched an offline 5h speedrun (:I) but the online components definitely add to the game and make you feel connected as you help people out and they help you

Wrote this when you posted but forgot to hit send
like many of you i was on the fence about playing death stranding, then for my birthday i get it as a gift from a friend and i gave it a try, initially i found it very frustrating trying to figure everything out with loading up backpacks and navigating through the map trying to hold all my cargo intact, but the story kept me hooked and interested to spend some more time.. now that im more than half way through the game im so glad my friend got me this game, its actually a masterpiece (if you can be patient with it initially) and navigating the map becomes so much easier with the added equipment like Ziplines etc. Heat from me
