£51.75 now.

Nevermind, I was going off the 44.85 price in the subheader of this page.

This is the discounted price? Jeez.
To buy now or just hope it goes cheaper before Christmas
Heat added. Will probably be £39.99 a week after launch, but this is a good pre-order price.
i would wait :P, i will buy this game when its alot cheaper, just hope he leaves his name out of ever mission this time, it annoyed me to see his name over every mission in mgs V
I am very tempted, clearly the cheapest current price, but cheekily priced on eBay.... I think I will hold out as the game is not released until the the 8th, no doubt another eBay discount code will be along before then.

Have ordered as its the current cheapest price...whats the process for cancelling the pre-order if i better price comes along? I've never pre-ordered anything on eBay...
I pre ordered the collectors editon the second I could!

I can not wait for this game!!
Is steelbook edition on this site?

I'll buy now as it'll take till black friday to get through the 1st cut sequence.
According to Kojima, you won’t enjoy it until half way through.

I don't think you can. On ebay you are committing to the purchase when you buy. you'll have to contact game collection as to whether they will accept a cancellation. Plus every item can be different as there are different options on returns and things like that which the seller can choose.

If you have any doubt I would wait or buy elsewhere.

Not as far as I could see while scrolling.
I expect this will stay around £40 for a good few months, unless it turns out to be awful. I'll wait for reviews anyway.

That's 49% more than I've ever been able to get through any of his other games; in other words, this is not for me then!

He didn't say that.

"When you play the game, you are driven in very slowly at the start," Kojima told Gamereactor. "It's not like Terminator or Star Wars. There is no explanation or anything. It's very easy to do it that way and I can do it, but the story progresses slowly. Especially at the beginning."

So when do things start to pick up? According to Kojima, things get "really fun when you have completed 50% of the game".

techradar.com/new…ugh
The gaming media will most likely give it an easier ride because it's Kojima and lots of gamers will love it because they feel obliged to love it but I've got a funny feeling this game won't be as great as everyone seems to be anticipating it will be.
MGSV, despite all the konami stuff, has some of the best gameplay ever imo - disappointing story from a long-term mgs fan perspective though. But Kojima's been fully supported with this, even recruited actors so he can fanboy over them. So, I have a good feeling about this... but having said all that, it could be crap and the trailers haven't helped me decide which it's gonna be.

Love Kojima anyway... But that's the kind of honesty that makes me wanna pay full price for a game... LOL...
Which I haven't done for at least 10 years.

This looks good but is it just going to be another Kojima game where it's incredibly complex and slow and no one understands what the chuff's going on?

Hate to say I told you so(well I don't actually) but I called it as a likely dud weeks ago. Even some of Kojima's most devoted followers are admitting it's not as good as they expected it to be.
I did 8 hours, and then decided I’d had my fill.

great idea and really good it’s getting positive reviews, But I’d rather be bus surfing than playing any more
