Bruce Willis stars in Director Eli Roth's reimagining of the 1974 revenge thriller Death Wish. Dr. Paul Kersey (Willis) is a surgeon who only sees the aftermath of his city's violence as it's rushed into his ER - until his wife (Elisabeth Shue) and college-age daughter (Camila Morrone) are viciously attacked in their suburban home. With the police overloaded with crimes, Paul, burning for revenge, hunts for his family's assailants to deliver justice. As the anonymous slayings of criminals grab the media's attention, the city wonders if this deadly avenger is a guardian angel.or a grim reaper. Fury and fate collide in the intense action-thriller Death Wish.br

I've not seen the uncut version, is it an improvement on the theatrical?

I wanted this film to be Bruce's Equalizer and start a sequel fest but he just seems to sleepwalk through it. The best bits are the ways he dispatches his victims but then it's just like watching a Saw movie. Shame really.
Surprisingly, not a terrible Willis movie, a man who no longer cares what films he does.
Yes, I wanted this to be a return to form for Willis but it doesn't match up to the Charles Bronson version
Better off seeking out Death Wish 3, one of the most ridiculous movies I've ever seen, it's pure gold!!! Death by bazooka!!!!
terrible film.

Roth and Willis could never take on Winner and Bronson.when I first heard about the remake I was intrigued because of the movies that Roth was renowned for.i knew it would never be a match for original but I was pretty impressed with the final product.some hate, some like, some love.i like it.
Currently available on Netflix but doubt if it is the uncut version

107 mins vs 107 mins though - so you never know!

UPDATE: the Netflix version is the uncut version with an 18 certificate (the UK theatrical release was a 15)

I think the uncut scenes is torture scenes of a few seconds.
