Lots of Star Wars and DC merch is at 70% off, which lots of people here seem to go mad for X) Christmas Jumpers are £10.50 now - debenhams.com/web…_-1 and some t shirts are £5.50 - debenhams.com/web…_-1

Didn't know, when did they start charging for c&c ?

Thanks OP - got some picked up some things!

Click and collect is free on over £20 and £2 for under £20 can always spend 20 and return the other items. Just a idea

Perfect Ty, spent a £100 gift voucher on 2 new dinner sets, cups to match and a new cutlery set, if you go by the original selling prices, then it has made for a very healthy saving and used up one of our wedding gift vouchers

It's better than the Next, M&S and Boots sales this year for me.

Thanks OP, ordered some boots and a bag :-)

You're right about Next and M&S - VERY poor this year & never tried Boots
But that doesn't make Debenhams sale good though

Tks op ordered some shoes & shirts

Name me one sale that isn't? Remember Boxing day and January sales in this country a few years ago? Disappeared. What happens instead every January ... the train fares get hiked up again. Bend-over Britain where people don't need sales or low travel fares, because more people are willing spend credit they don't have. It's all the rage now.

So you've never been to a sale where you've overspent or wished you'd bought more ? I have. Debenhams is normally better than this. Same applies to M&S. Poor this year

Thank you, ordered a few bits to keep for presents during the year

In their haste to part consumers from their hard earned retailers seem to offer deals or have "sales" throughout the year. Even in the run up to Christmas some retailers offer discounts, so no wonder January sales are largely an anti climax for many.:{

heat added, shame about the delivery/c&c costs

You suggested how it's normal for a sale to be bad. I intimated otherwise.
Surely you don't need it simpler than THAT ?? oO

If there's a mirror in your immediate vicinity, acquaint yourself with the person who lives inside to discuss the finer details of this fascinating exchange; they will explain everything in a way only someone of your lofty intellectual accreditation will understand.

Mayyyybeeeeeeeee! But I won't believe it until I see the receipts. I think British people (and many other nationalities) are just mindless consumers these days - no need to court them now.

OK. Agreement reached there. X)

I've had a £50 Debahams voucher for six months and can't find anything worth spending it on.

If it was John Lewis it would be gone in five minutes.

Miserable store. The one I went to in Cambridge made me queue up at the till for 15 mins to try on a shirt, then flat refused to let me try on another.

Go have an argument in messages or something, no one wants to see a game of verbal ping pong under a deal

Some decent deals there, wish the Balderdash wasnt OOS, but largely a disappointing January sale yes
Compared to pre Xmas/Black Friday, that is, heat tho

Could NOT agree more. The "music" there is WAAAAY beyond mere "cr*p" but the people shopping there are not moronic 12-15 year old who even THEY would think "What is this sh*t ?" so why inflict it on the rest of us. Puts me off shopping there, sure enough

Thanks for the deal. I guess it's me, but it took me an age to find stuff & then when I went to pay some of my things were out of stock! (Is that because I was slow?) Frustrating, but got a few good bits! Cheers!
