Good deal, if Quidco pays out

In the terms and conditions it says initial purchase must be made within 30 day of account opening.

If you shop at Debenhams it looks like this would be a good card to have as you get a further 20% off sale prices!

Darn it.

I Registered for my credit card instore a couple of weeks ago. Received my card yesterday.

No £40 for me then
I've done it- will let you know if I get the payout
Signed up, its offered by New Day - they do the Amazon card also.
All done and dusted temp card in my email off to do some spending
Thanks OP. Easy £40 if it pays out. Assume i can just cancel the card easily enough when I've cashed out?
Hawe u got link ?
meh congrats you have been accepted please read forms below and tick for signature. be great if there was anything to read or tick tried 2 different browsers as well. guess its not my day for free money and i do love free money :P
Used to have this card - only closed the account because I took out one of the Amazon cards instead.
Can't fault the provider - have had good customer service when needed. Only thing I would say is that the vouchers were issued as paper, offered no change, and expired after six months. They would also not replace them if lost/not received. On the Amazon card, it gets credited instantly as a standard £10 gift card - so none of these problems.
Anyone's cash back tracked yet?
Yes mine has tracked. Thanks OP for highlighting the deal.
Just applied, accepted (after a review check), will see if the £40 arrives in Quidco

What time did you click through if you don't mind me asking? Concerned mine hasn't tracked yet!

I've found that tracking for some credit cards can be slow, but should track within a week.
I did mine this morning and mine hasn't tracked yet
I think it only tracks when you make a purchase within the first 6 months.
Sorry you have to make purchase within the first 30 days not 6 months apologies, its in there terms and conditions.

for the cashback or the £5 voucher or both??
The terms and condition doesn't seems to be very clear.
Does anyone know if you HAVE to make that 30 days qualifying purchase at Debenhams or are you free to buy anywhere as long as you pay with their credit card?
Is there a minimum purchase amount?
Key phrase with Quidco is "if they pay out".

My experience is that way too often they don't - either they keep the cashback themselves and are operating a scam (🤔) or they just can't be relied upon to accurately track the transaction.

Customer services are quick to respond but are a waste of time...same response all the time, might as well be an automated response.

Have to agree with your point about Quidco. I've had 2 fairly large cashback amounts (£40+) declined in the past 2 months which has made me suspect that they're pocketing the cashback themselves - after all, there's no way I would know. All my low value amounts are coming through fine no problems...

Hello, was your Cashback tracked?
My cashback didn't track...which is odd as everything else I buy from Debenhams tracks. I've put a claim in.

I took this offer out before posting it and it actually took 7/8 days to track.
Maybe once your credit card is in the post, it will track.
Slow to be honest, but I've had a few similar experiences.
Cashback appears to be expected by the middle of September, but I'll believe that when I see it.

Hello, was your Cashback tracked?

Havent recieved any notification yet
I waited a few days, put claim in,next day it had tracked
Tracked fine for me a week or so after the application. Thanks OP.
Did anyone have to make a purchase for it to track??
Quidco can appear hopeless - one cashback claim (Car Insurance) is gonna be one year+ before I know if it will pay out. I doubt Debenhams will pay out.

My account is showing this........

We're currently processing your transaction, and a resolution is expected within 1 day.

We estimate your Cashback will be available by 31 October
Had applied back in August, it did track at the time however cashback changed to declined this morning. Have been using the card. Raised a claim, let’s see where we are in another few months
Also applied in August and recently been declined. I cannot raise a claim for this card as i used it to raise an 'untracked claim' (it later however tracked and then the original claim was closed). Not surprised if Quidco is pocketing the cashback

Did you make a purchase within 30 days?
I had no issues. Paid quickly enough and I received the £5 voucher with my first statement.
Handy card as it gives free delivery. Although there are often codes going about.

Did you get the £5 voucher with your 1st statement?
I'd assume any purchase would qualify, but I did buy in Debenham's.

Yeah I still have the voucher somewhere. I usually have trouble in finding things to buy at Debenham's (too expensive)

Looks like I'll be joining the rest of the one star reviews on Quidco. Submitted a claim, but expect nothing after being strung along on Topcash for nearly 2 years before a Debenham's house insurance cashback claim was finally rejected( I don't seem to have any luck with anything linked to Debenhams). If they turn down your claim just do what I intend to do- put the card in a drawer and let them send you paper statements for a couple of years all showing min. payment required £0.00
