When did click & collect go to £30 minimum spend !!!!

Probably since Mike Ashley invested in them!
Probably because there’s never a day when Debenhams don’t have some kind of sale or discount running. I haven’t voted either way.
Need to stop the constant gimmick sales and reduce price to a reasonable level.
They do sell half decent stuff but buyers hold off waiting for the half price or blue cross sales .I hope they can turn it around but fear the Mike Ashley effect might make their financial difficulties even worse.
I like others feel a little cheated by Debenhams endless sales.

Yes you can pickup some genuine deals, but often the sale ranges are the same things almost permanently on sale - the prices dont change much.

Remember Debenhams don't make anything, they just sell other brands or some own brands e.g. Burton, Jeff Banks, Regatta, so invariably the same items are already on sale on the brand websites or are last season.

Kurt Geiger shoes sound like a fashion brand but are in fact a trading name of Shoeaholics whose shoes are thoses prices and less with discount codes all year round. Shoeaholics also sell end of lines from Aldo, and others (good site btw).

Try and find a full 3 piece suit in Debenhams sale in your sizes, it's just bits and pieces, you have to search hard.

So basically its all a bit of a con to generate web traffic. If you find a good genuinely reduced item, great but its pot-luck. I've ended up buying so much stuff that I thought was a good deal and didn't really want/need and taken most of it back.

Can’t quite work out why *some* people are voting cold for this. Is it an anti-Debenhams thing?

Thanks you just saved me £15.
Was about to buy a jacket over the weekend, the wait was worth it.
Thanks - always useful to have a free delivery code.

C'mon in the price is ....ehh ..ehh oh i give up....
Can't speak for the other items but the prices of men's boot haven't changed _at_all. The Chesea boot mentioned above have been reduced to £34 for weeks! And in jewellery for instance there are no changes AFAICT so i'm voting cold

The same Regatta coat linked above in green is £5 cheaper if anyone is interested

What can you actually spend these 5 pound vouchers on. I have 2 I'm struggling to spend.

There is virtually nothing in the shop under a fiver (on valentine's Day a box of Lindt dor chocolates was 6.40, twice what the same thing cost in a supermarket). I'd like a coffee but you can't Spend it in the cafe, or any of the concessions. And you're better off buying sales stuff online for stock and for discount codes which means you can't use your voucher.

I was close to buying some rubbish blind bag toys for my kids last time I was in just to use the vouchers.
FWIW Debenhams now make you pay to return items via Royal Mail, it was mainly free until January this year.

MyHermes returns collections are (currently) free.

That's providing MyHermes actually deliver. Just had a refund from Debenhams from the last sale, as the MyHermes tracker stated they had been delivered and someone had even signed my name. Difficult when I was working at the time and no one else was at home.

Online chat with MyHermes and they even said the 'Geo Scan' showed the driver wasn't even in the vicinity After further investigation, they said driver had delivered but couldn't recall details. Opted for refund instead of the roulette delivery service again.

1.40 chocolates is cheaper than supermarket after using voucher?

You are right. But that means the 5 quid Debenhams voucher isn't worth anywhere near 5 quid. Surely there is some way of getting the voucher to pay for something 'worth' 5 quid instead of 1.50 (where in the example I could buy the same chocolates for 3 quid, so the voucher was sensibly worth 1.50. )
As per Debenhams, orders cancelled.
Makes a changecto be notified in less than a week though.

They've got a massive list of brands that aren't available for free Hermes collection though, as I discovered to my cost when buying recently. Which is why I won't be shopping with them anymore.

If it isn't own-branded Debenham's stuff then chances are it'll be on their excluded list for free returns.

If you still have the vouchers, look to see if they have any Easter items - they have some amazing Ferrero mini egg things for £2.50 so can get two of those.

Or if they still have Lindor (I guess leftover from Christmas) you can get a box of those and just pay 50p.

I've "bought" quite a few chocolates from my local

They may also have a reduced gift section from after Christmas, though my local has no good stuff now. But, it does sometimes gain stuff if people bring stuff back too.
Debenhams are the new SCS of constant and fake sales. It's so sad but they'll be the next High Street casualty. At least it'll make Mike Ashley a few more millions when it happens.

Excellent i will save that for later !!! Thanks
Thanks, got some shoes, but be careful and check same product elsewhere, only reason I got the boots was that this has free delivery here but where priced the same on amazon, most of the shoes are at normal prices that exists elsewhere.
there is no mention of the £5 voucher any more, think this may have finished.

Ashley holds 30% of Debenhams shares, around 360 million shares, all bought at much higher prices than current. Depending on what happens in coming months he could be a long way out of pocket! Shame hey?

Have you ever looked through a sports direct window.

The 'sale' everything must go, 70% off rrp model works quite well for him, so can only imagine it'll continue
I've always liked Debenhams but it's now looking rather sorry in my local. A whole 1/2 floor dedicated to reduced items which looks like a jumble sale with clothes strewn everywhere. 70% 50% 30% off banners all round the rest of the shop. Lots of empty shelves. Overpriced Easter eggs (they are half the price next door) and Christmas novelty gifts still trying to be shifted.
Some nice Fred Perry polo shirts but they are full price at £60-80 and never go on sale.

Sadly I can't see them lasting much longer in their current form. I've got vouchers I am struggling to spend in there as well.
