Gary :- thought you asked about the size ...

I think this is a adult size pool table - 1.8m long & ~ 1m wide

Are snooker balls available for this table and how much would they cost?

I know it may look funny on that coloured baize but who cares, I prefer snooker more!

Thanks

Snooker balls would be about £20 for this table. Have a look on the internet for various stockists. You might find some 2nd hand ones on the auction website though.

You need to make sure that you get the right size though. I would suspect 2 inch balls would be the right size for that table. The best way to check the size would be to measure the pool balls when you get the table (If you call Argos though, they may be to inform you). I'd go for as bigger balls as possible for snooker, to give you more control over the cue ball. If you go too big though, you will make really difficult!

Hope this helps, Steve

Thanks for your advice Steve.

Also arent Argos giving away £5 vouchers for every £50 spent now and £10 for every £100?

Alternatively you could get this snooker table for £30 more, it has extra balls for pool. Its also been reduced in price.

Where: Argos]

I bought a very similar one to this from John Lewis a few months ago (try searching the forum for details).

I'm very happy with the table, and use it for both snooker & pool. The JL one was only £99 though.

The 48mm balls mentioned on the Argos table equate to 1 3/4 inches. The extra 1/4 inch you get with 2inch balls does make a difference to playability. Insert "ooooh matron" as applicable...

Well ignore the 2 weeks delivery thing on their website, mine is coming Friday!!!! Had a callback an hour after I ordered it! Nice one

EDIT: I'm changing my order to the one below, bigger balls and has table tennis too! Bit more expensive but still worth it
