Bloody typical. Why does everything I buy immediately drop in price a week after.
Bought five bags last weekend!! Still have receipt so will buy five more and return them straight away under original receipt!!

The timing of this is perfect!
Please can someone give me an estimate of Major Bag coverage - on a lightly trodden path?

Depends which bag you select. You get around 25kg and you'll get larger coverage with gravel compared to stones

Has anyone used the white stones and then regretted it later on? As they must get very dirty?

Which stones would you recommend?
Some of these are cheaper at homebase 4 for 3 and only £3 a bag

The blue slate stays nice. After a few years the white stone's do get dirty

I have had the white stones out 2 years and never had problem. I put weed membrane underneath though so not sure if that prevents them from getting dirty
15% off this weekend too.
Great timing, thanks.

How to get 15 off is that automatic?

Not 100% sure if it's automatic.
Are any of these suitable to use on a driveway?

We had white limestone on our front garden 2 and a half years ago and it's still the same colour now. We also added some polar white spar chips to it around a year ago and there still bright white now. Hope this helps
Thanks what’s the code for 15% £30 spend ?

Me i wouldn't recommend if you have trees that shed leaves etc nearby, wish i'd gone for brown stones.

Yup my white stones are now green
There are a few places, b&m, aldi, offering 3 for £10 on 20kg bags as an offer all the time, so you'd get 60kg for £10 as opposed to 50kg for £10 at wickes, I don't think this makes it that good a deal?
I still think this is quite a lot for gravel.
I bought some pink pebbles from haldane fisher recently for less than £1.50 per 25kg bag
Check local builders merchants if you need a large quantity - pea shingle gravel bulk bag with delivery costs around £45 - aka "1 tonne bag" but typically around 800kg. I know pea shingle is much cheaper than other decorative stones but worth checking prices before purchasing from Wickes.

Thanks all

Think bm stores sell this cheaper but wickes quality is probably better.
Home bargains sell slate chips and pebbles for £2.75 for 20kilo bags. I was in there after I bought from wickes
better off with the bulk 800kg bags

i bought 6 bags of granite chippings for £40 each

works out £1.25 a bag
ideal if you can't drive though
3 25kg bags for £9 in asda and b and m.
