Major bags description is usually 25Kg in Wickes. I would say between 20-25Kg

The white colour comes off when handling it...

I don't believe its the colour coming off.. its the white stone dust. After a few showers of rain, it will have all washed off..

I got them today.. They look like marble white to me.. not off white.. but being a natural product there could be some variations (edited)

I thought major bag meant something bigger. It's a 25kg bag, maybe now 20kg thanks to shrinkflation.

Big bags are quoted as a ton but are really 800kg IIRC.

Wanted one of those for £6. "Come collect if u think yer 'ard enough".

I'm not, but I'd fill my boots.

Pair with the wickes slingshot for best results!

Thanks for this - any idea what cubic area this 20kg fills?? Thanks.

See the description - 0.3 of square metre when 0.03m (30mm) deep = 0.009 of a cubic metre.

If you mean square metre coverage - that obviously depends on how thick you lay it.

I didn't know 'major bag' was a unit of measurement, lol!
Really need something like this on the cheap, but no Wickes near me .
