Description

Lucifer CPU cooler is designed to cool the mainstream processors in fanless mode to create a totally silent system.

6 copper heatpipes are specially placed asymmetrically to avoid the interference with the memory.

The bundled 14cm patened rubber fan is able to enhance the cooling capacity of Lucifer up to 300W.

Mirror finished polished copper base keeps perfect contact with the CPU surface to achieve the best cooling performance.

The copper base has been CNC machined into a flat surface with a little convex design to guarantee the quickest heat transfer

Equipped with multiple clips to support Intel LGA2011 -V3/LGA2011/1366/1156/1155/1151/1150/775 and AMD FM2/FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2.

thanks OP

A really cool post. Heated

If your case is huge, go for it. It did not fit in my mid tower lol

Thanks

what case did you have and what do you have now? thanks

good find op, heat added

Unless you have good access to your case for fitting, don't bother, this is a right pain to fit even for experienced people, and even with good access is still a pain. Awful design flaws, especially the heatsick to the brackets and the fan attachment. To be fair though, this does have excellent cooling performance once you get over those problems. If you have a bit more cash to spare though and want eaiser fitting, go for a coolermaster hyper 212 for another £10 or so and if that's too noisy under full load get a quieter fan. Just my opinions on fitting this for a friend, was a terrible time and much worse than anything I have worked with before.

I'm guessing the 168mm is its height?...160mm is max in my case

I found it fiddlie to install. got there in the end thou

Wish I had saw this last night Heat added.

Lucifer is a gash name for cooler.

Damn just put in a good ol' CM Evo this weekend, but will switch it for this.

Is this a copy of the Noctua 15 and does any anyone know how performance compares?

I just ordered this cooler, and somehow i got a £8 promotional credit for it? try this code "4U7DFBVZ", not sure if its because of this code or what

Well, it's not a copy exactly, I have the NH-D15 on another rig and is similar yes... but the fittings are night and day comparison. Cooling wise, maybe a few degrees or so difference maybe. I haven't done a direct comparison as once I had the damn thing on my testing rig I daren't take it off again to see what the differemce would be, cos honestly I have no intention that if that thing comes off it'll go anywhere... apart from the bin. I can honestly say that with the noctua I can take it off, clean the CPU and heatsink, and put fresh thermal paste and fit it again in like 5 mins tops, I've not timed myself but know it's quick to do. With the deepcool lucifer v2 it took me about 20-30 mins just trying to get the bloody heatsink onto the brackets and putting the fan on, horrible horrible thing.... and i'm being nice with my estimate here too.

Did you really get it for £12?? oO

Looks about as silent as the dog next door.

really good for the price. much better than a cooler master 212 evo, but won't fit some mid-towers.

i have a thermalright macho rev. b and this is equivalent at 2/3s what i paid.

Dizzlepro

get a hyper 212 evo

erm no. don't get an inferior cooler.

Expired? Showing as £59.99 for me?

yep to late as always expired
