This is a premium monitor. No it's not 1440p 144hz, and yes you can buy similarly spec'd monitors for cheaper, but this will simply look better than them.

Good price for the product but in this range you can get a 1440p IPS 75hz if you look (though it would be a fair bit larger...?) and I do believe the Dell premium doesn't stand up to scrutiny here. But I'm no expert and I've seen plenty of people happy with their dell panels.

So ignore that all lolss!
Pretty decent price considering you get a monitor arm

This clearly isn't a gaming monitor so it's much more than just a 1080p 60hz monitor
How is it ultra sharp if it's only 1080 needs 4K to be called ultra sharp or even 8K

Its just a brand name...
wonder why all the 4k 24" are being discontinued and no more 27" 5k either

I have a 4k 24" at work...at 100% scaling the text is itsybitsyteenyweeny...office menus text for exsmple. Yeah you can scale it in windows bit then it looks fuzzy and defeats the objective. So I can see the logic in discontinuing. It works if you press your nose up to it. Wouldn't be without it but larger would be better.

I have a 1440p 27" Dell panel, and tbf, a 27" 4K monitor sounds rather stingy. Make it at least 30 IMO.

Windows support for High DPI is woeful !

Which version of Windows are you using?

I have a 4k 15" laptop running Windows 10 and no issues with scaling in the vast majority of applications I use.

It has got better lately, not a macOS user but apparently that does scaling better.

Works for me.
Hot if you don't require high resolution, but do need an even display with good colour reproduction. I have been wondering about upgrading my smaller and older ultrasharp and feeling a bit tempted.

ask your work to turn on HiDPI for you.

Great service from dell. Delivered next day and that was standard free delivery. Not opened yet. Thanks again for posting
Who wants to help me out?
A monitor is the last part on my build and I’m in no rush for one. I’ve been looking this week and I’ve found dozens but I’ve narrowed it down to:
1/ THIS £188 Dell, 24” full hd
2/ the £200 2560x1440p 24” Dell 2418D, or
3/ Iiyama at £115 box.co.uk/G25…tml

Iiyama is cheapest, but I don’t know anywhere I could see one in the flesh. The £200 will probably have better colours, but also I don’t know how my machine would run the 1440p Dell. Probably fine but I keep reading about Windows changing resolutions of things (text, icons) and being smaller. QHD is better, but is it worth £85 more?

wahhhhhhhhh lol

N.B. I have a GTX 1060 6GB and will be using it for occasional light gaming and file management (organising hd photos and videos) as well as office based spreadsheet work.

Thanks in advance!
The Dell U2515H is 25" at 1440p for about the same price or less. Similar colour and refresh rate. Just a better buy all round.

Where can you get that for a similar price to this? I can only find it over £300.
