really good value Ray for those that just want an everyday PC and not for gaming.

I agree currychops. It would be a good first PC for someone who's never had one before, and just want to get online to find more bargains!

if i wanted to use this pc for gaming as well, what would i need to upgrade?, how easy would it be to upgrade? and how much would it cost roughly?

Not sure you should be considering this model for gaming..if I recall correctly the case may have restrictions when it comes to fitting a graphics card and 512mb of memory will be restrictive.

I'll leave it to Mike T to advise you but I'd recommend you consider spending more on a 9150 or have a look on www.pcnextday.co.uk who have quite reasonable prices for gaming PCs.

Ordered their infamous laptop which swept the board in the recent Computer Shopper Test. Even though I was aware of the potential 4 week delay they took the money out of my account several days ago which I thought was quite cheeky given there's no estimated shipping date.

buggzy, give this one a miss for gaming, take a look at either the cheapest 5150 or 9150 as entry level gaming pc's.
Serious gamers will need to spend a lot more than this to get their rig, the occasional gamer can get away with a 128MB ATI Radeon® X300 SE HyperMemory graphics card at a stretch or the 256meg version, 256MB ATI Radeon® X600 HyperMemory graphics card.

Yes I agree..shame on PCNEXTDAY for taking your money...I had a recent problem with them over the despatch of my order which they quickly sorted and refunded my postage charge...so I suggest you complain by email to their [email protected] ..you may be lucky!!!

This now has a free upgrade to DVDRW for today only.

I think they advertised it in the Sunday papers with DVDRW when it had a combo on line so are offering it with dvdrw today to make amends
