This is great price for this newly announced monitor. It is nearly £900 at Dell's UK web store and a decent bit cheaper than any other UK Computer Retailers.

I do realize it's only £691.91 delivered from Amazon Marketplace but they are Shipped from Germany and I will be EU stock.

Not in stock quite yet but going by other retailers it won't be very long until they are in stock.

It's a great alternative to the LG Curved IPS monitors which are on the market at the moment and been getting great reviews..

Here is the product page for more information: www1.euro.dell.com/uk/…bsd

EDIT: Just noticed can be bought for £696.89 if you can still use the Mastercard Promotion code: PRICELES5

Looks good but not 4K? Would want 4K for that price.

4K really would not suit this aspect ratio.

Plenty of TVs around this price that are more suitable if you want to primarily watch videos.

5040x2160 will be the obvious resolution of choice for anyone who wants a High DPI 21:9 34" monitor. Same DPI as the 3840x2160 28" screens as well as retaining the 2160 pixel height so you can also watch 4K/UHD video content without scaling. This is close enough to 96dpi that you can use it without scaling though so you get perfectly sharpness even if none of the benefits from those programs that do support HighDPI.

The real question is whether a very slight curve is worth another £50 over the LG 34UM95 at the same size and resolution.

I have the 34UM95 and am very happy with it. However providing the specs on this curved ones are similar I would have happily paid the extra £50 for this curved monitor as the edges of the 34" do seem far away and I think the slight curve would make the viewing experience even more pleasant.

If the LG 34 curved wasn't pretty much £1,000 I'd have got one of those over the UM95 but this seems like it could be a feasible alternative.

Ordered mine 3 days ago at £680 but last night was £640 so asked amazon on chat to adjust my price which they did just hope I will get it before the 1-2months estimated time

I kept holding off for a little more of a price drop, hopefully I got the lowest price, but will follow your lead should the price drop again, thanks for the tip frozenfish Mine is reporting delivery between 13th Feb - 9th March, I've noticed other retailers are expecting stock at the end of this month so hopefully we'll get them sooner.

Not a problem but now I have a dilemma, to either go for this Dell or the Philips BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor at a slightly cheaper price.
