    What's special about this monitor?
    It seems very standard.

It’s a 4K IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel which gives good colour accuracy, high contrast and a wide viewing angle.

High quality 4K monitors are often a lot more expensive.

It also has USB-C which means a single cable to a laptop is sufficient for video connection and charging the laptop. It also carries USB to two USB-A ports that you can use for mouse, keyboard or whatever you want.

Finally it has a height adjustable tilt and rotate stand. It’s very good. I bought 3 and can highly recommend. (edited)

One USB-C cable allows you to power it and use it as a Display Port. No need to plug it into the wall, it gets it's power from the computer.

Think it is the other way around. It can power a laptop up to 65w over usb c as well as carry the video signal and possibly mouse and keyboard over one wire.

If you are an employee of a company that uses Dell monitors you’ll probably find you can get an additional 10% off by signing up with your company email address at dell.com/en-uk/lp/employees (edited)

Fanatical gamers may want to look for something with a higher refresh rate and probably don’t care so much for colour accuracy and other features.

For typical business, office or home users it is great.

Has windows has finally got app scaling issues of 4k at 1440p sorted?
It's been doing my head few years ago when I had 4k 27"monitor. Some programs worked fine but some old ones been tiny on the screen and couldn't get them bigger.

I've been watching this and the S2721QS hoping for a deal for ages. This S2722QC model has been at the discounted price for a wee while now. My preference, the older S2721QS has display port rather than USB C which gives me better flexibility as I'm using a dell dock.
I've tried getting the dell codes but to no avail. They did send me one but it states 'already used' when I try to use it.
    True story bro.
I'm trying to get a suitable monitor to dock with a 2021 16 Macbook. I'm also looking for donuts but that's O.T.
    I'm open to ideas.

Oh, by the way - heated up & thanks for posting. with the codes this is goodly indeed I think. (edited)

This monitor comes with a high-speed USB-C charging cable that arrives 4K video from the computer to the monitor and power to charge your laptop from the monitor back to the computer (USB-C cables are confusing as some can carry high speed data but no good for charging, some are good for charging but only carry data at USB 2 speeds and some do high speed data and charging).

It also has two HDMI ports which can also be used with a Display Port or Mini Display Port connection by using a suitable Display Port to HDMI cable. Check your length and be sure to get a high speed cable suitable for 4K video. There are plenty to choose from, for example:

    amazon.co.uk/s?k=Display+port+to+hdmi+cable&i=computers

Switching inputs is easy as the front panel keys can be configured as hot keys to cycle or toggle inputs (edited)
