Same usual story, decent basic-task PC. Stick an SSD in there and it should do very well for browsing / Office / Video playback etc.

As always, not intended for gaming. Also note, DisplayPort instead of HDMI (adapters are cheap to pickup). Slightly cheaper and lower specs than the previous deal for the Dell 7010.

Delivery is fast and free.

Bit too big for a VESA mount, I'd say

can this burn CD's? oh, I'd need a dongle for wifi? is that right

The image shows the drive to be RW, but the one I have is a DVD Rom. Yes, will need dongle/card for wifi

Would this be any good as a Plex server? For one or two 1080p streams?

Rough figures are you need 2000 pass mark for each 1080 stream - this has a passmark of 3927 so not a million miles off. Other things to factor in, of course, i.e. what client etc etc

Get the all in one Lenovo for £143, better specs and good price. There are a couple of deals on HUKD, same seller. If you have to buy the monitor and the wifi adaptor, this one will probably cost you about £100 anyway.

Geez some of the questions in here, what do you expect for £63...

Expect very little performance and you shouldn't be disappointed

Ram upgrade?

The USFF 7010's will have two RAM banks, so presuming this comes with one stick you will be able to upgrade to 8GB.
System maximum is 16GB

Yes, you will be able to run the latest AAA titles on ultra settings at 60+ FPS on 4K resolution after putting a graphics card in.

It's not small enough for that, but it isn't exactly beefy either. It's a mATX form factor mobo.

You want the 7010 SFF version, this is the USFF, GPU won't fit.
Processor: Intel i3 3rd Generation 2120 3.30GHz

the i3 2120 is 2nd generation and is Intel® HD Graphics 2000
So this won't run fm2019?
System requirements for football manager 2019
OS Windows 7 (SP1), 8/8.1, 10 (1803/April 2018 Update) – 64-bit or 32-bit
Processor Intel Pentium 4, Intel Core or AMD Athlon – 2.2 GHz +
Memory 2 GB RAM
Graphics Intel GMA X4500, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT or AMD/ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 – 256MB VRAM
Storage 7 GB available space
Info Direct X Version 9.0c

yes maybe might work but the NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT scores 260 3d on passmark and the hd2000 scores 200 3d on passmark but is 5 years newer technlogy

also can upgrade cpu to 3rd i3 or above to get hd2500 graphics or the i3 3225 or i3 3245 to get p4000 and i5 3570 or i7 3770 to get hd4000 graphics

but really if buying a computer and depending on onboard graphics really a 4th gen (haswell) is much better and even better the 4th gen haswell refreshed that score over 700 for 3d on passmark but 4th gen Pentiums scores around 550 for 3d on passmark as well the 4th gen have direct 12.

hd 2000 scores around 200 3d on passmark
hd 2500 scores around 220 3d on passmark
p4000 scores around 420 3d on passmark
hd400 scores around 420 3d on passmark
Edited by: "paul124" 28th Mar
I only came here for the comments...
Worth noting that the USFF variant won't fit a graphics card. I'd suggest going with this 3010 SFF, which should fit a low profile gtx 1050ti - itzoo.co.uk/col…-10

Also video showing how to upgrade the above machine and fit the gfx card, etc.
youtube.com/wat…LCY
the good part about teh 7010, is that the processor is a Gen 3 or i think in this case its Gen 2, which allows you to use older operating systems such as XP, and if you get hold of a genuine Dell XP instalation disk there is no issues about licencing
Gen 4 and above block the older Operating systems

Actually if buying a computer and relying solely on the onboard graphics with as low power use as possible, there is only one undisputed king...
AMD APU's!

Even the older trinity-based AMD A6-5600k (from 2012) with Radeon HD 7480D scores over 400 passmark in GPU perf.

For the a lot more CPU performance compared to the i3-2120, while keeping to the same power envelope (65w), then again the older trinity-based A10-5700 gets you pretty far (4344 passmark for cpu (vs 3927 for the i3-2120); while the onboard GPU for the A10-5700 (HD 7660d) scores 780 passmarks (vs i3-2120 at under 300 marks).

Obviously passmark is only one synthetic benchmark, but onboard graphics is where AMD has always shone, thus the reason Intel now work with AMD to utilise certain AMD gpu's in Intel Kaby Lake cpu's.

Now if only there was a similar deal for an AMD APU-based computer...

Can we not have it cheaper without windows 10?

Ram upgrade?

There seem to be 2 memory slots in this model. It's not clear whether the advertised 4GB is made up of one or two DIMMs. If two, you'd have to chuck them away and start again. Theoretically it's possible to upgrade to 16GB in total but that wouldn't be cheap. Bear in mind that Dell PCs can be quite fussy about RAM, so don't count on picking up cheap second hand RAM. I recently bought some from CeX for an Optiplex 780 SFF but it didn't work. Google research revealed that this was not an uncommon problem. Fortunately I was able to swap it for the Crucial DIMMs in a similar age Lenovo and that worked fine.

the cpu is a i3 2120 is 2nd generation and has onboard Intel® HD Graphics 2000 that has a passmark 3d score of around 200 points.
a GeForce GT 1030 scores 2211 on passmark 3d

I am fairly sure that the 3rd gen Intel CPU's and definitely with the 2nd gen CPU's and earlier, Windows 10 doesn't have full driver support for the graphics chips, so I wouldn't be surprised if most games had problems..... unless you switched to Windows7
