Struggling to achieve the discounted price. Is the Paypal code account specific? Thanks.

Code worked for me on the 16gb model, bringing the price down to £594.16

Hi, I don't have any problem with this code: NH?QXM1N4RL2SL with both version... very strange
When I ordered my laptop I didn't even use my PayPal account...

Just tried it and it works fine for me, it's only for the 7000 and XPS machines though, are you trying to do it on the cheaper machines?

Inspiron 15 7000-Series

£719.01
- £90.00
Special PayPal offer: 15 % discount on Inspiron 7000 notebooks and desktops and XPS desktops .

Ccode doesn't work with the clearance models unfortunately, already checked

These are prevat prices, So there is VAT to take into account

I wish it came with, or was customisable to have an optical drive

can someone confirm that it comes with a dedicated graphics card?

The dedicated graphics cards is only on the dearer model

also you wont b covered under visa for faulty issues etc

over the past 2 weeks i've been trying to buy a laptop from dell, not one voucher code has been excepted!

It does not come with a dedicated graphics or it would say it does. its the Intel 4400.

Decent deal (£600) and nicer machine than the 5000 posted the other day, though 2-4 hours of battery is still pretty woeful.

Personally, I'd rather spend £100 more and go for an Acer Nitro V Black Edition over one of these if I was interested in a mid power gaming machine.

860GTX > 750M.

It is not true. I have bought 16GB version and the touch screen is on the spec list...

This discount is already on the Dell website.

If you have American Express and spend £699 they will credit your account with £100 (as long as you add the offer to your card).
So chuck a few extra things in your trolley on top of this and get them for free!

You can have this cheaper laptop with DVD, the i5 M in this is faster than the i7 in the dell
hotukdeals.com/dea…028

Poor processor - the i5 in my work laptop wipes the floor with it. Hard drive is also poor, as are on board graphics. No deal here.

Give Medion a WIDE berth - build quality is terrible. The one I had broke within 2 years - the plastic surrounding the hinges gradually cracked, which led to the screen bezel cracking, the display connection malfunctioning, certain keys on the keyboard stopped working (the contacts became 'sticky' which no amount of cleaning would solve), and the trackpad has always been terrible.

The 8GB seems to have integrated graphics only.

What's the battery life like?

So tempted to use the £100 off a £699 spend
To get the Inspiron 17 7000 at around £621 using the amex deal.....

how does this deal compare the dell 17" i7 4510u deal posted a few days ago for £465 which has since expired?
