Hot from me, but will Dell honour it.

I wonder how these compare to the Logitech X230's and X240's. Does anyone know where the controls are located and does this have a headphone socket?

Had these in the office at work, excellent speakers very loud and powerful bass. so loud they are easly heard in the warehouse.

No headphone socket

The ON/OFF Volume wheel is on top of the right speaker and is illuminated blue and the sub has a knob on top for the bass level

You wont be disapointed with these

Yeah, got these too and they're very nice. Good quality too.

they are ok, came with my old dell 3 and 1/2 yrs ago.
subwoofer is gd, speakers are ok. blue led on volume wheel.
good buy for £20

I have these speakers and sub also, excellent set up, very nice and loud, excellent price
HOT!

Can anyone tell me if these will work with my PS3/TV as a home theatre set up or are they PC only? Sorry, I'm a bit clueless when it comes to speakers and stuff!

Of course they will! It's a 35% discount until 23rd September.

They normally wouldn't sell for much more anyway.......

Sorry don't know as I don't have a PS3. However they come [as normal] with a mini stereo jack connection which looks like this

HUH? have you used them? I got rid of my creative 5.1's (well 4.1 as the rear sat blew) for a set of these! Much clearer sound and louder without distorting than the Creative tat!

I'm pee'd I paid £22 off eBay last week second hand for a set! :x Cheapest I could find at the time was £45!

They are awesome for the money really give out loud outputs and deep bass without distorting.

Heat added

Yes I have heard them.

Spend an extra £10 and get something you won't later regret buying just 'cos it was cheaper :

£1.05 Quidco

*warning* sound good but we have had 3 sets of these - kept breaking. Got sick of sending them back, taking time off work etc.

fantastic set of speakers and amazing at this price, have tried a few logitech ones around this price and nothing comes close. Have had ours for years and they sound nice and the bass is tight.

I've had these a couple of years now, they are great! Good price.

I'm thinking about using these with an MP3 player.

I assume the coming with some kind of DC power supply and they not powered by USB or anything like that?

Thanks

It's powered off AC mains supply. PSU is built into the subwoofer.

My A525 is 15 months old. Works fine, sounds great, used almost daily connected to Dell desktop. Albeit Dell did have to send me 3 before I got one that actually worked. (First suffered from low output, second from distorted output from subwoofer unit)
