No, but I can get a 144Hz 1440p IPS monitor for same money
That's a 240hz display, but You can still share a link to a comparable spec one.
Ips kinda defeats the point of high refresh rate? Any racing games or fast paced shooters are gonna have terrible motion blur and ghosting on ips

I agree. Each to their own I guess, but these days one can purchase 25+ inch 1080p monitors with great refresh rates for beneath £150. If I was blasting £300 on a monitor, I'd put that towards a 27 inch 4K monitor to future proof my tech. I accept that's not everyone's need or interest, but it's just great insurance for having the latest technology.

240Hz is useless. I have a RTX 2070 and I barely have 100FPS on new titles on high settings.

Even if you have a RTX 2080ti, 240Hz is useless.
Useless. Rather have a 1440p resolution at 144Hz. Can't even reach that FPS consistently for new titles. O ly useful if you play old titles like csgo.
That is a great price! I was waiting for this to come out and instead purchased a 1440p 165hz panel. 240hz is quite hard to drive for a lot of titles as you are massively CPU bottlenecked, regardless of the res.

Isn't that where the G-Sync/AMD FreeSync comes in?

No it's to do with the GTG response time, TN panel has way lower times, mayb this would be ok for slow paced shooters like r6 or csgo

4k at 60hz doesn't compare to 1080 at 240hz. Someone playing COD at 240hz would whoop ass against a 60hz player.

You're talking about minutiae playing one game, with a competitive gamer's mindset. Some people are less oriented towards that, and more towards value for money.

I got this monitor, last year, for £149. It's not quite 144hz, it's 95hz, but as someone whoopin ass on Warzone I can assure you that's never held me back. On a serious note, it's a great monitor and I recommend it. But you can get monitors better than mine, with a better brand and refresh rate, for the cost of this (in my opinion, overpriced) 1080p monitor listed.
saw this video come up the other day, I do like me some IPS colours so it's nice that they're getting there on the response times vs TN. 240hz is like rubbing butter in my eyes, I don't even play competitive games on my xb252q, I just like the smoothness. Even just the cursor in windows is satisfying, when it crosses onto my side 60hz panels I get sad 'cause I can see a huge gap between the cursor rendering in its new position.

I just wish someone would make an affordable 24 or 25" 1440p IPS panel running at 144/165/240hz. 27" is too big, 25" is perfect, and 1080p sucks but helps to push the higher rates. This alienware creation but at 1440p would be fantastic.

This was true years ago. Have always used TN displays since the first ever TN @ 120Hz (around 2013 I think). Now using an Alienware 34" IPS 120hz and never seen any kind of motion blur or ghosting.
RIP, I should've just bought it and didn't save it for later.
Wonder what panels are best for reducing eye strain? IPS doesn’t use pwm I don’t think so maybe that one

Depends on what you are playing. I would assume this is aimed at esports players as Overwatch etc easily hit these frames. Or Doom as that has amazing optimisation!
This deal is great. IPS is really catching up to TN in terms of input delay whilst looking fantastic and the increased contrast can help in some games. I also got it for £280 by using the student 15% discount (you can get a voucher by using a student email on the Dell website).
