Bought this in early December for 1p more! Nice printer, very pleased with it.

i have a samsung ultra expensive refill

I have the C1660w and the WiFi is atrocious, always disconnecting, have to keep pinging the IP address to ensure a document will actually print. This might be better as you can connect via Ethernet as well. Voted hot for the price and Ethernet.

A colour laser with wireless networking and cheap toner refills...> I can't see why this isn't much much hotter?!

Heat , just ordered one , great deal

I bought the C1760nw a couple of weeks ago. I haven't done too much printing on it, but I've been impressed with it so far.

I've not had any WiFi issues. Can take a while for the first page to appear, but no connection issues.

I bought the 1250c for £50 about a year back. Not had any problems with the cheap toner on eBay. We are on the 3rd set now. My wife uses it for school work.

I don't need wireless, but this is hot for those that do

How many copies can a colour toner do roughly?

How come when I posted this 6 months ago for £97 it was deemed "unsuitable" and removed? Anyway, it's a very nice printer, though we've given up on WiFi. Did have an Epson inkjet linked up and it was always drying up; this works far better.

Downside no duplex. Got the version with scanner. The cheapness of the toner is pretty extraordinary.
Have it hooked up to a windows server upstairs with an airplay hack meaning i can print at will from my ipad/iphone.
Great value for money.

Is this toner set compatible with this model printer as I can't see it on the eBay page?

I have used these for the extra black cartridge which is useful

How many pages does a toner do vs a traditional ink jet cartridge? also, do these "dry out" light traditional ink cartridges? I only print every few months.

always been tempted to get one of these...

No, they don't dry out (see my post above).

Same Cartridges as above.
Have been put off getting a laser printer due to the cost of the cartridges.
These are cheaper than refill ink for my old deskjet.

£159.99 each and £50 cashback off dell...

£109

do u have a link for the cashback. lack of duplex puts me off this

I'm just waiting for a decent price Duplex; I have to print two sided pages a lot, so to be able to send a bulk of print jobs and just collect would be great.

PS: hot.

Good for you.

More proof that punctuation matters! Semi-literate UK.

This was £89 a month ago and didn't get much heat! Just slightly less than Amazon

hotukdeals.com/dea…072

cheap but not enough incentive to buy from Ebuyer - anything goes wrong and they are not there to help. from my experience anyway.

Any ideas if this will print double sided without having to manually do so?

No it doesn't

There is no problem buying this from Ebuyer, the warranty is 3yrs with Dell as a next day swop out .

Your worrying over nothing.

Anyone recommend similar but Mono? I have no need for colour AFAICT, I only print boarding passes and stuff like that. Unless someone wants to talk me into getting a colour. But I can't see it! Needs to be very small and cheap, but that's it. Wifi would be nice for tablets etc.

No, that cheaper Ebay one is the Dell C1765nf. That doesn't have wireless, whereas the Dell C1765nfw does

I know this laser printer has a lower dpi compared to an inkjet photo printer, but would it be any good for my daughter that likes to print off lots of photos for school homework?

Shame it doesn't support airprint, 3rd party mobile printing apps never seem to work very well.

No auto duplex feature on the C1765NFW, you have to do it manually.

I bought the non-wireless model 1.5 years ago.it's excellent.brilliant print quality and the original toners are still going strong.
recommended!
the difference between those rubbish ink jets and these laser/led printers is truely night and day.

Do any of these support AirPrint?
