Interesting as Dell seem to have put their prices up as i bought a d9200 a few weeks ago - Please make sure you haggle on the phone if buying one of these as previous posts as you will get a better deal.

By my calc's prices seem to have gone up by about £25 on the configuration I looked at a few weeks ago and I got it on the phone for around £100.00 less plus some bits added in - maybe this is how they are paying for the extra quid co payments.

Yes I agree.

I bought a 9200 in December; it was the E6600 core 2 duo (2.4ghz) with the 20" digital flat panel monitor (2007FP), XP Professional (media included) with a free upgrade to Vista Ultimate, 2048mb memory (533MHz, 2x1024mb), multimedia keyboard, 320GB Serial ATA 7200rpm drive, 16X DVD+/-RW drive and 256MB ATI® Radeon® X1300 Pro PCI Express graphics card.

I paid a shade over £700 after Quidco.

Bear in mind the "E" in Dell's monitor descriptions stands for Entry level.......no digital output, they're analogue only.

Thanks for the pointer Mike and the feedback all

I stand corrected

Certainly the smaller monitors from Dell indicated analogue connectivity when they were E-branded..........must be a change of policy.
