Good deal but I'd rather the IPS for 180

Again I'd say the IPS panel is worth the extra £40 but this is still a great deal.

As it happens, I own both this and the IPS panel model (U2311H)... I have them sitting next to each other here.

This is a really nice monitor for the money, but there's a noticeable improvement in the IPS model. I'd recommend going for the IPS if you're into any serious image or video editing, or if you're particularly bothered about viewing angles. For gaming and general use I'd be more than happy with the E2311H.

@Lemur:
Do you play games or do other high FPS activities? Is there any noticeable lag or ghosting on either monitor?

Shame it doesn't have a full rotate/adjustable stand, not for all but I like to have full flexibility. Appears the version that does is much more @ £179.

And there's always that 1" difference between the 24" !

Thanks, nothing like a view from a real owner with a basis for comparison. Bless you sir.

thanks for taking the time to feed back on this

I'd be really interested in Teh Lemur's FPS experience with the U2311H

If it helps, I have a U2311H and it is great for FPS gaming (see my comments on the U2311H deal for more).

Any ideas how often the free delivery comes up (seems to have ended currently)?

Yeah, I've found both this monitor and the U2311H have been great for gaming. I haven't noticed any lag or ghosting on either, they both seem up to the job. When I switched from an old CRT to the E2311H (yeah, I held out that long!) I didn't notice any negative effects. Likewise when I switched to the U2311H, it seemed equally good.

Hi

How does this compare to the Dell G2410 24?

Also the free delivery bit for the code doesn't seem to be working?

Is this likely to hum/buzz being LED backlit?
