Discs could be better, bit mint machine. Still think a 2070 is too much for laptops

Not if its a desktop replacement and have a UW or large 4K screen to dock it with.

Would have to ditch the internal drives on this and stick a 1/2TB NVME paired with 2/4GB SSD.

You can also use code VCLOUD8 for another %8 off too...

This machine dose run very hot though. The CPU is always hitting its thermal limits.
Posted a while ago I think, and went cold for some reason. There's also an 8% code (dailyfail8) which brings it down to £1213.47

One port does it all: Enjoy the benefit of multiple port options in just one, with the Thunderbolt™ 3 port.

Don't mind him, hes a proper melt.

Well it is, unless desked? Are you getting the full use, mobilly?

It's a desktop gpu, built for a plus 500w+ psu?

I guess it's that laptop versus desktop arguement huh lol
£1213.48 with code DAILYMAIL8, could be worth updating the title.
Why has this been discounted, is it a bad laptop, how does it compare with the lenovo legion Y740? Is it worth buying now or wait for black friday or end of the year Hollidays?
Isn't the 1660ti a better GPU for laptops and for their temperature in general?

Can anyone confirm if this is a 144hz screen? Cant see on the spec list anything about the refresh rate of the IPS panel.
Looks to be a great deal if it is. Very very tempted
Tempting.

Yeah, I've seen him on other threads ragging on about lack of TB3, especially Ryzen laptops, then ironically this one that does lol

I dont think so, You can see when you look at all models that if it has the 144Hz it shows in teh display like this one dell.com/en-…ons
Thats a shame. Especially as the model punted by DSG was 144Hz/512 NVMe/1TB sata hdd and worked out 1349 after trade in and finance take up. Is that offer still on?
I don't seem to be able to get the dailymail8 code working. Says it's valid but doesn't apply (seems to be either/or)? Tried using it instead of the flash14 code and that doesn't get it down to £1218 either.

What am I missing?

Fair play. I almost bought one then decided instead to get a reconditioned 2080 Ti desktop card. Defo the better choice!
Doesn't convince me too much despite the amazing specs the only let down is the screen which is 60hz and a complete waste to have a 2070 for that. There is mo option to add a 144hz screen else it would have been literally the best priced laptop with those specs
Can confirm it's a 60hz screen. Undecided whether to cancel at this point.
Get the currys one
