NOTE: I have contacted the shop and they say it comes with a 3 cell battery, making the 6 hour claim very unlikely...
EDIT: Have now had another email from them saying it has a SIX cell battery.

Very good price and the performance is okay even though its a single core celeron. I got one for my other half 3 mths back and cost almost £300 but came with the larger battery. You are right 3 cell will not get you 6hours. The larger battery gives you almost 5hrs at best. having the bigger battery has it's downsides it looks like an after thought; sticking out like a stand and therefore reducing the 11z's otherwise sleek, thin and ultra mobile design (The battery has to be taken off when travelling).
We love it apart from the touch pad (it has the left/right buttons integral to the touchpad) which can be annoying, very sensitive. It's so bad we have turns off all the twin touch zoom and scroll features which can also be activated and resorted to using the mouse. On some reviews some people actually like this touchpad, but it's not for heavy handle people like me.

There is also no ram access plate at the back which means it'll be difficult to upgrade. which was confirmed by youtube where i watched a guy take his keyboard and touchpad off to get to the ram (like open heart surgery). I assume it is a single slot for the ram as the manual said it can have 1gb, 2 gb or 4gb ram.

But apart from these two niggles its actually quite a good netbook size, netbook price mini laptop with a non atom processor and better display resolution (so you do not need to zoom on webpages) and 2gb ram. so definitely worth it. Its also surprising how much bigger 11.6" is compared to 10" screens.

oh yeah and it has HDMI what more can you ask for.

You just need to remove the keyboard to upgrade the ram - just three screws - very simple. You can only upgrade to a single 4GB DDR2 stick which is expensive.

I LIKE THIS ACTUALLY, VERY GOOD PRICE.

It's a great value ultra-portable laptop.

It has the CPU power and proper resolution screen for a laptop.

these are brill got one with 500gb hardrive should have a 6 cell battery as 3 cell lasts 2.5 hours maybe 2 hours if screen brightness on full also the 6 cell battery sticks out of the bottom of the laptop which lifts the laptop up which i like its quite thin and doesnt weigh much not had any problems yet this is not for doing 3d models and converting hd video but its great for internet and movies hdmi very usefull 3 usbs card reader would recommend mine was £500 from dell without 6 cell battery

And breathe....

I have the Pentium version of this, very nice small laptop, recommended.

I have a spare 5530 WWAN card - does anyone know if it this would be compatiable with the laptop and would it be easy to fit this into it? Also, does it have bluetooth?

This Acer is also similar, more expensive but I like it better as the battery doesn't stick out making it much more portable:

Does anyone know if this has the new trackpad with 2 buttons, which Dell introduced for this model in May, or the button-less one that was much derided?

the two buttons are integral to the trackpad.
