It's the old version with the Nvidia 960M.

This was £700 12 months ago (I bought one!) and was £630 9 months ago!!! Still a decent price for what it is, but funny how prices of laptops have gone up up and up in the last 9 months!

From your own statement, you are either a very confused person, or you dont understand the deprecation of good, as they get older. What school of finance did you study at?

He paid 700 12 months - £19,99 cheaper
Then was 630 9 9 months - £90 cheaper
Now it is 719

You do the math einstein

I understood him perfectly, I'm sure you do too, so why be so obnoxious?

Cold deal, but older doesn't always mean less than good.

Yes Isaac Newton, I have done the math and can deduce that you haven't read my comment. I said that it's stupid that prices have gone up but actually the price seems pretty decent compared to other laptops that are available today

I wish this site had a dislike button.
Instead you can go on my ignore list with the other unhelpful people.

I guess i never saw that. Still my point is validated. Why pay more, when newer tech is out.

Dell have really ramped their prices using BREXIT as the excuse. They are very uncompetitive now IMPO. Their outlet prices are, with the rare exception, crazy as well.

I am glad someone else thinks that as well. Everyone is doing it. Even when brexit has no part to play. Most of dells parts comes from china i bet anyway.

I had a look on their Outlet last & this week and was truly shocked how expensive their Outlet stuff is even without the VAT. I then went and checked out Lenovo stuff which, for new, was often in a similar price range as the Dell Outlet stuff but often better specced.

I bought a 2 in 1 ultrabook from Dell, new, 2.5 years ago via a PayPal deal - got it for £650 as opposed to some ludicrous £800 region. The aluminium looking case turned out to be grey plastic and where my palms rest it has worns away to a rough, dirty plastic. Certainly not worth the £650 I paid let alone the £800 they were asking. I now see that they want silly sums for basic desktops and laptops whilst their metal case laptops are a silly, silly price.

I will need a new laptop this year and will opt for a HP or a Lenovo as they seem better spec, better build and a lot cheaper.

Rant over.

Btw, the Pound looks to have bottomed and financial gurus reckon the Pound might go up to a whopping $1.70 in the next couple of years. Don't hold your breath for prices like Dell dropping drastically to accomodate that though.

True. However, you can find some fantastic offers on their outlet. Got myself the new XPS 15 i7, 512GB SSD, and Full HD screen for £900 the other week (used a 15% discount voucher). You can find deals there, it's just a shame you have to be there at right place right time when they update the inventory. PC was brand new and was likely a customer return despite being a scratch and dent unit.
