You may have see the special offer listing today which offers £55 off and free delivery. I was on the site earlier and noticed that the listed laptops change availability quite frequently. This can be re-checked by refreshing the search.

Suddenly around 4 Inspiron 1525 with Dual Core 1.86MHz processors and 2GB or RAM appeared at £211. After the discount and VAT these came in at £186 all in a superb bargain and cheaper than anything which I have seen out there.

The moral of this post is to be patient and you will see a number of great value bargains appear.

Hope you all also manage to bag a bargain.

I pressed Expire because its not a Hotdeal but a tip , cant post a hotdeal if the laptop you post is not even for sale ....i hardly think were all going to be clicking refesh on dell outlet to wait to get this deal , probably be waiting all week otherwise , plus they may never have them for this price again :?

The deal here is Free delivery and 50 pound off Outlet store, your better off posting that as this is not a deal.

if they are not available at the price posted then there is no deal.

Thanks for posting anyway OP will keep an eye out to see if any come up but the lowest at the moment out of 260 products listed is over £100 more than your post states

Well if you were going to do something like that then why not explain the reasoning behind it first.

THANKS

Post this or someone else will.

A good tip, thank you Avoint, despite it not being regarded as a "deal".

But beware, people, I notice the website says "Prices do not include VAT or delivery".

People dont need to explain the reasons why they either expire a deal or vote cold , either way its not a deal so hence the reason why , no reason to explain , its common sense really.

Unfortunately not Andy as some people may think that the deal or tip has actually expired and subsequently may miss out. It is open to interpretation you see if you are not clear about your actions.

According to Dell it would be impossible to identify one PC on the outlet site

Dell Outlet is the place to go to find great savings on some of the latest refurbished Dell Technology, already built and ready to ship. This is product which has been returned to Dell for a variety of reasons including cancellations and specifications changes. All products have been tested and repackaged to Dell Outlet standards. Dell Outlet also offers standard limited warranty coverage and the same excellent Dell service and support on our refurbished Products as we do on our new systems. Please note that our inventory is sold on a "first-come, first -served" basis and changes rapidly. We cannot guarantee that all displayed products will be available at the time of your call.

I accept that, but I was flagging up the VAT aspect for people who might spot other bargains on the site you have recommended. I didn't want them to get too excited and carried away, only to be disappointed when VAT was added.

Fair enough

Should be more added soon as from over 4o systems in my search now only 2 available.

now as contentious a "deal" as this is i think i owe avoint a beer
having read all the moaning in the thread, i was merrily clicking refresh (as suggested) and an inspiron 1525 popped up for ........ wait for it ........ £48.19 + vat !!! now i was so quick to click add to basket i dont even know the spec untill id already paid for its just a basic 2.0ghz C2D, 3gb ram, 250gb with webcam

now i know no-one will beleive me and i really couldnt care less but If / when the Dell confirmation email comes through i;ll post up the details to prove it

Hey ppl be nice...... Avoint was merely suggesting we should all sit here for hours on end clicking the refresh button in the hope something cheap will become available...... for that reason I am out! (as the dragons would say)

No offence but after clicking the refresh button close to 2000 times in the space of 9pm -2am for the travelodge £9 room sale - without getting on the site or a single room - I really can no longer be bothered lol
