I've been looking for a deal on a 17 inch laptop and thought this might help others. You can get dedicated graphics (AMD Radeon 530 4GB) for a little more if you don't mind "scratch and dent", otherwise it's a little more again for the refurbished one.

Edit: thanks to you_gotta_be_kidding for the 10% off code, valid during January, which should also work for the model with dedicated graphics mentioned above.

Also 3% topcashback potentially reduces this to £523.90

I bought the 15" version of this a few weeks ago, although I got the i7, 256gb SSD and 530 graphics. Great laptop but terrible screen, dull colours, shocking viewing angles and low brightness, if you're using for regular use then would be fine but no good for graphics etc... I tried to return mine but couldn't so still got it.
Also if you call the number on the home page you can get 10% off your first order until the end of January.
Or just use this coupon

I order a "scratch and dent" laptop from the Dell Outlet last week and I am still looking for the scratch and dent. It is immaculate.
I am a student so got a 15% discount. You have to email them proof of being a student from your .ac.uk email address.
I had an absolute bargain and would highly recommend any Dell Outlet product now.
This looks like a pretty decent machine too.
Agree about the comment about the screen and graphics. I would also go for an i5 as i7 doesn’t bring much to the table for ordinary users.

I would say it depends on the extra cost, when buying mine the i7 worked out at £60 more but also had the dedicated graphics, i7 + dedicated for £60 is a no brainer, even if just for resale value. I agree though for everyday use the i5 8th gen is a cracking processor and leaps over the 7th gen.

Thanks for the coupon you_gotta_be_kidding!
