Want it with XP Pro instead? then go here

At the top of Dell's page linked to it says: "Dell recommends Windows Vista™ Home Premium."

Unfortunately, they don't let you select that with this system! :x

Can i just say in the nicest way possible, i hate you mike, bought the other desktop for 358ish, and now you present me with this great deals

Your tempting me, my bank account and making my girlfriend unimpressed at me not being able to save a penny

But thanks for the deal.

Great deal MikeT,

Do you know if it is possible to edit this to include the Geforce go graphics card? You can only upgrade to the ATI x1400 via the option on the Dell site, and I would like to get the best graphics.

As luck would have it, you can have this for not a lot more money, but your stuck with 1gig of ram, unless you remove it and sell it on replacing it with 2x1gig much cheapness from elseware ;-)

Thanks MikeT

do the graphics card thngys really makethat much difference

IN testing it seems the Go7300 is slower than the X1400. So I would go for the X1400 if your thinking of graphics upgrades.
My bolg sidebar has links to sites with graphics cards performance for you to compare.

also i wanna watch TV on my dell is that possible so you reckon the intel media accelerator isnt that bad

With a usb tv card/dongle it can do TV and the base graphics will be enough for that but if you want to game on it you may want to consider a graphiocs upgrade as it cant be fitted later. I can play far cry with reasonable eye candy with the Intel base graphics, but obviously there will be less stress on the system if it has a card fitted.
Down to you really, cost verses useage.

thanks im not a gamer to be honest just a surfer ! but i missed out on the 563 one with 2 gig ram,ge card 5600 a while back and im gutted as i havent seen anything else better since, do u know when they will update the offers again ?
