Can anyone confirm whether, this or similar offer, once had 1024mb memory as opposed to the 512mb here?

Priced as last week but still a nice laptop.

Can anyone confirm if this, or a similar offer, once had 1024mb memory as opposed to the 512mb here?

Would be very nice had it had 1024MB!

It may possibly have had more ram on a double free ram week but I just checked back a couple of months and its always had 512meg in that time.
Its got just one stick so it makes it easy to add another yourself, its just one or two screws to remove the ram access cover and the new ram just clips into the unused slot.
Crucial ram pricing is quite good with use of a voucher code and Quidco to save some more.

As Mike says, Crucial RAM through QuidCo with discount code makes 512Mb around £34
