These are actually pretty decent gaming machines, LinusTechTips review here (i5 version). And they constantly make the top 5 budget gaming laptops in reviews.

Best under $1000 gaming laptop review.

Although I personally would not go for the 4k setup for gaming, I would go for the 1080p for £948.99. The main difference is that the £948.99 one doesn't have a 4k screen (you will not be gaming at that resolution on a 1050Ti so its really a waste on a gaming machine, also using a laptop with a 4k screen significantly lowers your battery life over a 1080p panel). Onto the storage, the cheaper option comes with a 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD, which is much more usable for large game installations than a single 512GB SSD.

The reason why you want the 4k display on the Dell's is because their 1080p screens are terrible TN panels.

better off with the refurb alienware with the 1070

Got this from outlet for 825 with 15% nus discount. Very pleased. As above worth getting outlet stuff instead. Mine had full packing and protective stickers. Likely cancelled ordet

They replaced the TN panel with an IPS panel on the newer Gaming 7567 machines.
