They are there - click on the link and sort by price - you should see several pages of Inspiron 1011 laptops.

Loads left .. good find .. shame it is a 3 cell .. but can't have everything

Just going through them to see if any of them have any extra add-ons - here's the first set I'm seeing so far, to allow members to take a look if they're interested.

How's this compare to the Compaq deal you posted???

You're messing with my head!!!:?

Found 1 with xp for same price. EWTM8W6R

I got a red one with BT and win 7. I was going to buy the mini 9 from pc world but so glad i waited for this deal. Does anybody know where you can pick up a 6 cell battery for a decent price? I was thinking of calling dell tomorrow and asking if I could upgrade the battery before it is sent out but I am guessing with this being a refurb I wont be able to?

Thanks

Andy

I would stick to the Compaq Mini 110c deal thread - three things for that suggestion would be the price, the possibility of cashback (you can't get that via the Dell UK Outlet) and the Dell Mini 10v Netbook can be a right pain to upgrade the memory & the hard disk (you have to practically take it to pieces and take your time with it).

However the Dell Mini 10v Netbook beats the Compaq Mini 110c hands-down when using it as a Hacintosh - the 10v shares the same hardware as the Dell Mini 9, which easily runs the Mac OS X operating system.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Scotty Boy - have you nabbed all of the BT ones - none left that I can see!

I haven't purchased any - I'm a bit skint at the moment I'm afraid!

Unfortunately they all go very quickly - I did the same thing on a previous Dell UK Outlet deal thread for the Mini 10v Netbook and all the ones I pointed out with having extras went pretty quickly!

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Got a black one - now which one is better to hackintosh this or mini 9

This one - the 10v has a lot more disk space (handy for dual booting it as well), larger screen by an inch (makes it easier to see the dialogue boxes that can go off screen a bit) and it has a fan, which is handy for long running of the netbook.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Just 13 left - got to be quick people!

The 10v does not have a fan.

The 10v does not have a fan.

You sure? I could have sworn this one had the fan and it was the 10 that didn't, due to that one having the lower power CPU...could be wrong though...it is Thursday after all! :-D

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

brookheather;7464123

No there are still 13 or 14...

Probably people putting them back in after the fifteen minute timeout for the shopping basket...I think they'll all go soon though by the speed they are moving at.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

I've had several 10v's and taken them apart to upgrade the memory to 2GB and I can assure you there are no fans!

How much do these usually go for anyway?

Edit:

Not that great a deal - £269 at pc world for a new.

About time Dell got some stock but the site is broken for me so I can’t sort by the usual parameters under Firefox. Is it broken for others?

With Windows 7 Starter they currently sell for £249 plus £19 for a coloured lid and £30 for BT so the red ones with BT were the best deal.

Working for me with Firefox 3.5.7 so long as you just sort by price - you can't use any of the other filters.

ordered some of these before crimble - they are brilliant little machines, but dell delivery is a complete and utter joke!

I paid 42 quid to have both delivered, and ended up collecting them myself,as courier would not deliver in time for xmas,

customer service is a joke - over an hour in phone queues!

I was also called clown by the courier company!

complained to dell, but they are no interested

good luck!

How can I tell whether the one I ordered had bluetooth - will it be in the email confirmation

looks like they've all gone

That's what I meant you can't search properly but have to wade through the acres of Inspiron 1545; I have no interest in the 10V.

ScottyBoy on another netbook thread, youre as bad as me, cant get enough of them. Im suprised you dont have a house full of them

i wasnt that impressed with my mini 10 made worse by the large and heavy 6 cell battery, i love my mini 9s, my mrs has a mini12 which is really nice but the hdd is knackered so will have to go back soon,

good to see some decent stock back in the outlet altho they were £10 cheaper last month
