The processor dates from 2017, so these laptops could easily be 6-7 years old.

Of course they could have been be properly refurbished. New keyboard and battery. Dismantled and the thermal paste replaced. Is there any evidence that this has been done? (edited)

Or you can go on ebay, look at laptops with pictures of the keyboard and ask the seller to report the battery condition e.g. ebay.co.uk/itm…386

The downside being even less or no warranty (edited)

Hmm. Tempted. Am after a £150 ish cheap laptop with windows 11 for someone and like the look of Thinkpads.

This is a good solid buy. And doesn’t have the stupidly located FN of a Lenovo.

So, I bought one yesterday and arrived today. The laptop is indeed in pristine condition. Not a single scratch that i can see but even if there was its 200 pounds you know.... Also, I got sent the i7 version instead of i5, lucky me.
