Dell P2214H AH-IPS 22" monitor (screen only, refurb) £66 delivered @ NRG_IT

Not for everyone as it's a refurb and comes without a stand.
If you are on a budget and have your own stand or are looking to wall mount your monitor, this is a pretty good deal, I think. Standard Vesa 100 mount.
They also have the 24" version for £89.
These are supposedly the replacement for the popular Ultrasharp U2212 / U2412.
There's an in-depth review of the 24" version here: tftcentral.co.uk/rev…htm
Price includes next day delivery and 12 months warranty, though you have to pay return postage.
Mine arrived in mint condition with VGA, DisplayPort and usb leads.
Seller has been on Ebay since 2007 and has 100% feedback.

Matching stands also available from the same site (when in stock) or there are plenty around on Ebay.

UPDATE - 18th February: 24" monitors and stands now back in stock.

No, but there are plenty of cheap converter cables around.

Great price, I'm surprised at how much you have to pay for a stand though (£15-20 seems going rate on Ebay), I'm also surpised that I can't find a generic VESA 100x100 stand out there for less.

The stand from Dell is very well-made from quality plastics, very smooth at lifting/lowering/swiveling the monitor. Well worth £20 they want for it in my opinion.

Looks like they also sell the stands seperate for £20 but only have 2 in stock at the moment

These seem really cheap if you are thinking of mounting them

I thought that as well. I mean, it's not as if they are in short supply.
I went with a cheap wall mount which works fine. Was about £7.50 I think.

I have had a lot of monitors over the years and i can safely say i have found this Dell the most impressive.

Very sharp and wonderfully clear, contrast is stonking. The best part is the colour accuracy, astonishing. The whole build oozes quality as well, the fact it has displayport & a usb hub is icing on the cake.

Voted +MEGAHOT when Lancman posted the first time.. +HOT again on the thread revival... not for all without the stand.. but check the original thread for all the extra info I posted, to take advantage of a brilliant monitor at a brilliant price

Would have bought it if it was 16:10 rather than 16:9.

.....surely that would be hot.....especially if you've been holding it awhile ???

Seems like a great deal to me! If I could be bothered to find a cheap stand, then I'd snatch one up.

I wouldn't do that.....you could get a rash, and a sore 'Johnson'.....just try to watch less porn

......to have someone to hold their pint for them....could be difficult if they're also going to hold the telly. Still about time they learnt to multi-task. Probably save some money, as they'll have no hands for flicking through catalogues or shopping channels.

This would be perfect... if it was next Friday and therefore payday.

Don't need a stand, just want a 22" LED monitor with at least 2 inputs!

I wouldn't worry, I have it on good authority that there were 50 in stock this morning with another 150 on the way.

Having said that I've just checked and stock is down to 9 already. oO

Can this be used as a T.V? sorry for the blonde question.....lol

Got one before Christmas with a £6 wall mount from ebay. Very good monitor - Looks brand new. It was very well packaged too in original Dell box.

It has no tuner so the input will have to come from somewhere else (Sky, etc.)
It has DVI which is the same signal as HDMI video but requires a £2 adapter.
What is doesn't have is audio in or speakers - you will have to connect your Sky to an amplifier if you want sound.

I bought one of these last week and it's brilliant (with a spare Dell stand) - in perfect condition and a great picture.
The PS4 looks great on it

Hot!

Thanks so much for your reply....:)

I got one of these. Fantastic for the price and tempted to get another. Top quality ips monitor.

To go with it i got this monitor stand / clamp with arm. This is awesome really good build quality and is extendable for more too.

I ordered three of the 24" from the last deal for an eyefinity setup. Customer service was fantastic - very good communications and they followed up with the (rather inept) delivery company numerous times to get it sorted. I can't speak for the 22" monitors but the 24" ones are very good indeed.

Same price at ITCSales, but they charge delivery on top (usually £10).

P2414h is £85 on ebay at the moment (also without stand) if anyone would prefer the larger size

My son bought him self a 24" one from NRG with his Christmas money he is well made up with it especially for the cost, he bought a stand which unfortunately was damaged but they replaced it next day.

Good find. They also have the 22" for £69 so if anyone wants one of these in a hurry that's now your best bet because all 50 of NRG's monitors have now gone.
They are expecting another delivery of both sizes but that won't be for a week or two.
No doubt this thread will be expired ( the original one has disappeared altogether ) and I'll have to start again when the new stock arrives.

Voted hot... obvious reasons. Though I bought this; ebay.co.uk/itm…987 (same model, £3 more, listed as "New other"), - I just assumed with this being a refurb and some mentioning bleeding, that with this one listed as new I wouldn't have any issues. I'm just being too paranoid here I reckon.

I wouldn't have found it if not for this thread and I don't think it's worth posting another one since someone already mentioned this eBay listing.

I also bought a smaller, 19" Vesa 100 stand. (From E196FPf on eBay for £15 delivered) I'm not even sure if it is strong enough, but I wanted a nicer looking stand - plus I already have another Dell monitor with a strong, sturdy stand I'll swap with if really necessary.

You can get a stable 80Hz overclock on the 24" model - so you may be able to do the same with this.

Really chuffed with the 24" model - great colours, no dead pixels, 80Hz is brilliant for gaming.

I didn't realize you could overclock a monitor, how's that done then?

Yep, poor old NRG just can't keep up with the demand from us HUKDers! Mike was expecting this batch would last until the next one arrived. X)

Cheers, bought 2. Would have got 3 if they had speakers, I have speaker bars but no internal power supply for it

Anyone else notice a yellow tint to this monitor? Delivered this morning and seems fine when watching hd movies but when browsing and looking at pictures that have a white background on other screens they seem ever so yellow on this.

Can be countered by increasing brightness but this then means everything else is too bright?

Is this a fault or just the monitor picking up on colours that my old one couldn't?
