This review probably sums it all up. Decent monitor, have purchased it for a double monitor setup.

pcmonitors.info/rev…4h/

Found a stand, also refurbs going at £9.99 - getting both would mean you'll be paying a grand total of 99 quid for a IPS monitor that goes for well over £125 currently. ebay.co.uk/itm…033

NOTE: This does not come with a stand but you can always get one from Amazon/Ebay (search VESA 100x100 and you can easily find one cheap).

Posted before, but it's now back in stock so this will serve as a benefit to others who don't keep track of the comments in other threads!

Thanks for pointing out! Seems to break when put in the link field so I'm going to add it into the description.

The 8ms response kills it for me

How are you supposed to mount it? It's non-standard vesa.

Yeah. 15ms is best for gaming.

That doesn't mean diddly sherlock.

Does this look like a standard vesa mount? No.

No point in arguing if it is OOS

Out of stock so I'm not going to find exactly what vesa mount fits it, but on the dell website it does mention vesa compatibility.
accessories.us.dell.com/sna…794

and people seem to be still voting hot for something out of stock - strange!

It's a standard VESA 100 mount - take out the screws and screw onto the mount

how isn't it a standard vesa? it's just 100x100..worst comes to worst whack a couple of washers on it...

OP .. mention Reburb in your Deal Title. :-)

Lol, it's VESA 100. You acting like a **** makes that quite funny.

It's standard 100 vesa.

I got 2x 24 and 2x 22 inchers.

I use 2 of these:

Probably the cheapest dual 22 inch IPS setup you can get.

This is more of use for graphics designers and general use, not really a gaming orientated monitor. For my main gaming rig I use a DELL U2414H. It has around the same response time but it operates well and fast for gaming. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

What is 8ms and 15ms is this worth the money no cold for me

Well that went quick as heck.

Cool, I wasn't after one of these but it prompted me to check the site and I got a Dell P2214H WOST for £70

I'm rather shocked that they e-mailed my password to me after I ordered though, that's a major security no-no. Even if I change it, they just e-mail me the new password!!!

Doveman, if you're interested in getting a stand with the monitor, send them a message. They claim to have refurb stands for sale although with noticeable cosmetic flaws.

Thanks. I actually wanted one without a stand, as I'm going to use it as the bottom monitor in a dual-screen cockpit layout to display the instruments, with the upper monitor showing the outside view, so I needed something I could VESA mount to a custom frame. Then again, if I can get a stand cheaply it might be useful in case I want to sell it in future, so I'll see what they're offering.

Now that's a really interesting project you've got there. I'm assuming you're setting up a flight sim rig?

Yeah. I want to build something for my Dad's X-Plane that will raise his main monitor from normal viewing height to where it needs to be for the cockpit window view and this monitor will then be clipped onto the stand below that at maybe a 70 degree angle to display the instruments using a program called Air Manager.

I've actually got a spare Dell 22" monitor already but it's a TN panel, so not ideal for strange viewing angles and worse it doesn't have a VESA mount and I would have had to build a wooden frame to support it, so I've been keeping an eye out for one of these for a while, as the less building I have to do the better!

Will do. Hopefully I can get it built for his birthday at the end of July but I've got a lot of other stuff occupying my time at the moment, so it might take me a bit longer.

It's potentially back on again, stocks are going up later this evening apparently. Could someone please unexpire this? Thanks!
