I only use Dell monitors, love them. They look the business (can't stand the red and black edgemaster look of gamer monitors) and also tend to have nice features like a built in USB hub. Highly recommended.
Bought this last year for my setup - great montior!
good deal
If you don't mind a refurb, ITC Sales have some for £83.94 - Link HERE!

EDIT: They also have it new for £95.94. Bonus

"distinctive sound".

They might have tried a bit harder to choose an adjective that didn't sound like they were being polite about it...
Hmmm 2 of these or 1 ultrawide ? Decisions, decisions .....
What are these monitors like for colour accuracy? I do UI design on a MacBook Pro but if it’s not a massive difference in colour reproduction, I could do with one of these when I work from home.

I would go for 2 for productivity, or 1 for gaming, though 1 is more convenient (only 1 needs powering, only 1 port is taken up on PC and there's no separation line down the middle) decisions, decisions indeed
Extra £20 for the 24 inch which has freesync and 6w speakers
The state of the monitors business is strange.

I bought a Asus 23" 1080p IPS monitor about 2 years ago for about ~£114 I believe, and today it's still roughly the same price. That's literally a joke

How on earth have 1440p and 4K panels kept their price!?!

If you're going ultrawide suggest you go for as large as you can get - don't sacrifice the vertical space. Prices are then much higher so two of these is a very good options especially as it's an 'infinity screen' so I assume bezels are minimal
I'm a big fan of Dell Monitors too. I bought a Dell Monitor from this company about a year ago after trying out other brands at the same time. Very happy with it for the price. From my experience, they tend to be heavier in weight but that's hardly an issue when it's only going to sit on the desk.

Would be keen to know this as well.
I have this monitor. Very impressive brightness and speaker surprisingly loud.

They are alright, they claim calibration in factory. but honestly full HD is a bit retro compared to your MacBook Pro. As a MacBook Pro user why are you skimping on a monitor?

Because my MacBook Pro is provided by my work and I’m tight with my cash!
A shame that more and more manufacturers don't make their monitors VESA mountable ...

I just bought an Asus 23" 1080p IPS monitor from Ebuyer for £90, so a little bit of difference.
