Great monitor!!!!!!!!!!!!

strange how some monitors have speakers and others don't :?

i would go for this if it had speakers - think I'll go for a HP one instead (similar spec / price)

Have you got a link to the HP one?

this looks like an average deal, max 1920 by 1080.

What about this from ]ebuyer for £130, Ok its got no DVI, but look at the specs...

No that expired earlier this week.

This was available at less than £140 at Xmas time, I can't vote this hot ]LINKY

I can get ]this for £140

and ]this bad-boy for £229

stapsell;4560940

Ok its got no DVI,

That's the key difference. I wouldn't want to run anything over 1280x1024 using D-SUB, and even then it would be a push past 1024x768.

The difference in sharpness and colour is quite striking - plus the monitor doesn't need to sync to the signal.

What panel are they using, TN??

I'd go for this monitor DVI connection is a must!

Of course having both DVI and VGA is preferable, but not always essential
A DVI to VGA adapter dongle costs about £1.50 delivered from dealextreme.
With regards picture quality, with my current 19" 1440*900 monitor I find the VGA picture identical to DVI provided the cables are good and reasonably isolated.

I suspect that with good quality / isolated cables VGA looks the same.

Just ordered one for my local collection (with the £10 dumbbells too!)

Thanks for posting H+R added.

Got this for £140 around last xmas. Still a decent price though

Thanks !!!

Picked mine up today...it's a beauty!
