TN and quite small. I'd want 27" on a TN for this money.

Does this include VAT? Dell generally don't include it. Link won't open so I can't check.

Decent price then!
Daft question about G-sync, do all the Nvidea 1060 cards have G-sync? specifically a 1060 that's fitted in my gaming laptop?

The lion share of the cost is the G-Sync module so the remaining £100 isn't bad for the specs of the display

Probably have a look here and see if it supports, if not contact ASUS asus.com/uk/…on/
Seems a good price to me, heat.

Yes, g-sync is important, unless you have a beast of a rig pushing a stable 60 at max settings in some games at 1440p will be a challenge. Ofc, in other games where you are targeting to push 100fps plus it will not be so helpful, which should be a lot, if going for this monitor with this insane 165hz refresh rate.
Really only a good buy for those who really crave this insane refresh rates, CS:GO "pros", etc.
Very happy with my g-sync 1440p screen, would not go back to non g-sync. Helps so much in keeping games on the limit smooth and tear free. Mine is IPS and 27" mind. Asus PG278Q. It was about twice the price of this screen, hasn't gone down much at all since either.
Overall. Seems a decent deal this. But for a niche audience. Only major negative is that -the screen size seems a tad small for 1440p

This page indicates this model has the right port, although it has the same model number as the laptop you linked it says it has a 1050ti. It being a ROG it is extremely likely it does have it. Still, as CABellamy says above. No harm to contact Asus to be sure.

AG271QG is better than the PG279Q, although they're extremely similar, but I would only ever get the Asus if it was ~10% cheaper.

60Hz is kinda lame, 4k is unnecessary, and 28 inches is arguable too big for a e-sports monitor. Its a nice monitor for casual gaming... but this infinitely better for serious players.
I bought this display a few months back and I highly recommend it. People are critical of TN displays and swear by 4K, but if what you're interested in is competitive online gaming (or simply screen tearing free 60fps gaming) and you play relatively close to your screen, then 165hz refresh rate with G-Sync and 1 ms at this price point is an amazing offer for a 2k monitor of that size. I find that 27 inches displays / 4K monitors are a bit too big for me, and with current GPU prices, you'd probably need a £600 priced card to handle the higher resolution at a silky smooth FPS which is quite an investment. This one pairs well with my GTX 1060 and does great with games that have inherent delay, like Street Fighter V. So yeah, have some heat from me, and check some reviews out there if you're interested.

It’s definatly a 1060
your link is the ROG Strix, mine is the ROG Strix ‘Scar’ edition, different machine.
Honestly, you could fork out a little more and get the S2716DG which is a 27" version. It's brilliant and you don't have to deal with the windows upscaling. It may be a TN panel but it's superb quality.

I have no doubt it is a 1060, the link I provided was based on the model number in the hukd link you shared, GL703.
From a little more digging it seems that the model you have is the GL703VM. The 2nd link below confirms
"Mini DisplayPort 1.2 ports"
I suggest checking the box to confirm the model number. Hope that helps. Let the g-sync goodness commence.

24" is better. The 27" one has a low gamma preset and overshoot ghosting.
They both have issues with banding, and even at £360 this is overpriced, I wouldn't pay more than £300 for either the 27" or 24".
