Looking for a good 1440p G-SYNC monitor and this appears to be the cheapest out there. Quality control on Dell's seem to be better than acer. Overclockers are very close on price at £455.99 +£9.60 = £465.59. If you can get free shipping, then Overclockers is the one for you.

This isn't a deal mate. This is just how much this costs. You can normally get it cheaper than this.

Don't think we'll see a deal like that soon! Are you happy with your screen?

Trying to find the best deal at the moment because I also missed the amazon deal. Could be waiting for a long time before another deal like that. Strange that morecomputers list the monitor for 442.94 on morecomputers.com/pro…6Dg

But superior Nvidia cards don't use Freesync? Those crappy AMD cards do
Original Poster

Harsh. It's around about the going rate for a 27" GSYNC 144Mhz TN monitor. The acer PG278Q ROG Swift is £500, but quality control on the PG278Q isn't very good. Dell have much better quality control and after sales support, like direct replacement to your house.

I got mine from an Ebay seller. Costs £390 new inc Dell 3 year warranty delivered. The warranty is fine as I checked with Dell when I was going to RMA mine but it turned out to be a browser issue so I didn't proceed. The other Amazon deals were clearly misprices and if you got it for £354 that was a great deal and if you got it for £110 that was daylight robbery. lol

He told me £390 and this was around 2 weeks ago. If he told you this recently then he must have reduced them. What is £340 - the monitor in this thread?

I have just seen that thread, & the various prices this item has been at Amazon (UK) recently:

[ hotukdeals.com/dea…971 ]

To be fair, some of the contributors to that thread received an incorrect product & stock was not available as a replacement.

Others were very lucky though (even with the Euro AC/DC power requirement).

NV GTX 960 2G DDR5 wouldn't be good enough to get 144hz? Looking at the XPS's on the Dell page and thats their highest GPU in this range... any advice?
