This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Some very good deals to be had on the dell semi annual sale. The Dell website is a bit of a mess however...

I didn't personally find anything I wanted listed within the sale itself but they've also heavily discounted other current models outwith the sale, even with 12th gen cpus which I've had a hard time finding stockists for at all. I found the negatives of this laptop from reviews to be the screen(optionally upgradable).

I was told by a rep that the sale is on until Friday 5pm. But I think this may be incorrect as the items in basket state that the price is available until the 11th. Perhaps this is unrelated to the annual sale.

3.75% Quidco available
Triple dell rewards on purchases over £799, double below £799. I believe this works out to be 9% back in vouchers. Though I think this is only redeemable in 500 pt increments(Until 30th april dell.com/en-…ram) . I believe you must register for dell rewards before purchase.

I'd personally avoid any 3050Ti based gaming laptop as the performance difference between it and the full power 3060's that are available on the Legion 5's and other similarly priced, or cheaper, 11th gen intel or ryzen 5000 based laptops are considerably faster. 12th Gen Intel is great but if you don't have the GPU grunt to keep up with it, it's wasted. Still, it's a good price.

Link me up with a gaming laptop around this price if you don't mind on the hunt for one, not desperate but would like a newer laptop than what I've got

True, there is the option to upgrade to a 3060 and a 240hz 400 1440p screen, but it was around £300 more so not worth for me, when i only very occasionaly play games

Choices are a touch slim at the moment with no eBay sitewide offers going on and other retailers off at the moment but this one direct off of Lenovo is a great alternative. lenovo.com/gb/…BAU. You can access the lenovo education store and get it for under £800 through this link, supposedly any lenovo account can get in this way. I just checked and my non edu account did infact let me through. hotukdeals.com/dea…547

Great processor let down by the GPU.

The 11ty gen Intel with RTX3060 is WAY better if you game.

As others have said far more eloquently but I'll add to the chorus:

Good productivity laptop if you only occasionally game - that processor is baller.

Bad gamer laptop if you game a lot. Worth taking a hit on the processor to get a 3060 in there.

Good CPU, held back my GPU.

Anything similar priced but a 17.3 form factor that includes the 12700h? That CPU is a beast. (edited)

I'm not a game but need a new home laptop (it'll be mainly desk based) for dev, photoshop and general usage.
Missed out by a whisker on the XPS deal yesterday but would this be any good or am i paying for a gaming machine that won't really ever do any gaming?

Why do they put such nice specs with low brightness screens? It's a bit irritating to keep seeing this.
Surely the overall experience would be vastly improved if they had put 100nits brighter and one version/ slight downgrade in processor... or smthing like that. (ie same cost of manufacture).

Go to the Outlet, you can get a 11th gen model with a 3060 and the much better screen for around this price.
