This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Some very good deals to be had on the dell semi annual sale. The Dell website is a bit of a mess however...
I didn't personally find anything I wanted listed within the sale itself but they've also heavily discounted other current models outwith the sale, even with 12th gen cpus which I've had a hard time finding stockists for at all. I found the negatives of this laptop from reviews to be the screen(optionally upgradable).

dell.com/en-…5sc
I was told by a rep that the sale is on until Friday 5pm. But I think this may be incorrect as the items in basket state that the price is available until the 11th. Perhaps this is unrelated to the annual sale.

Code DAILYMAIL8 for 8% off

3.75% Quidco available
Triple dell rewards on purchases over £799, double below £799. I believe this works out to be 9% back in vouchers. Though I think this is only redeemable in 500 pt increments(Until 30th april dell.com/en-…ram) . I believe you must register for dell rewards before purchase.

sorted byLink me up with a gaming laptop around this price if you don't mind on the hunt for one, not desperate but would like a newer laptop than what I've got
True, there is the option to upgrade to a 3060 and a 240hz 400 1440p screen, but it was around £300 more so not worth for me, when i only very occasionaly play games
Choices are a touch slim at the moment with no eBay sitewide offers going on and other retailers off at the moment but this one direct off of Lenovo is a great alternative. lenovo.com/gb/…BAU. You can access the lenovo education store and get it for under £800 through this link, supposedly any lenovo account can get in this way. I just checked and my non edu account did infact let me through. hotukdeals.com/dea…547

Not bad....
Good productivity laptop if you only occasionally game - that processor is baller.
Bad gamer laptop if you game a lot. Worth taking a hit on the processor to get a 3060 in there.
Missed out by a whisker on the XPS deal yesterday but would this be any good or am i paying for a gaming machine that won't really ever do any gaming?
Surely the overall experience would be vastly improved if they had put 100nits brighter and one version/ slight downgrade in processor... or smthing like that. (ie same cost of manufacture).
