OK Dell got this again normally 265.80 + delivery

do it today only and reduced by 25% with free delivery so £186.75
10% quidco = £168.08 (£18.67)
£80 recycle = £88.08 (http://www.rewardandrecycle.com/_Content/en-US/qualifying-products.htm)

You may have to pay for return of old monitor but royal mail do for about £10 (has been rumours that dell give £10 towards cost so may end up free)

This was submitted before but was expired. think 25% ends today though

so it is not £88.08 for those who don't have qualifying old monitors.

*Traded in displays should be working and undamaged (normal wear and tear is acceptable) with original power cables.

The qualifying bit is about the new display you are buying. The old one just has to work.

Price needs revising, like fullmoon said, can't get it for £88 if you don't have a qualifying monitor, Quidco isn't guaranteed also

what would be a qualifying old monitor....i have a 19 inch belinea widescreen monitor...is that ok?

WAS AVAILABLE FOR £61 JUST A FEW WEEKS AGO.

Recyling Cashback cannot be combined with any other offers or promotional … Recyling Cashback cannot be combined with any other offers or promotional pricing. You are combining "quidco" and "free delivery" with "recycling".So unfortunately, you wont get recycling cashback . Voted cold for that reason

WRONG based on the previous threads/results - you CAN combine then all. That said neither £back or recycling rebate are guaranteed whereas PAYING for the Dell is, and so is paying for the return of the qualifying monitor (+cables).
BTW: don't see how "rumour" is the right word for the £10 refunded towards recycle/rebate monitor carriage fees - it's 100% explicit!

Original Poster

all monitors working are fine it says.
just found £10 cash for postage so if you do calculator on recycler it says you get £90 (including £10)
last deal at £61 was wrong - cannot do 10% extra discount (seperate from quidco) as this removes 25% and also last post said £90 cash back plus £10 for postage which was wrong as it was £80 + £10 for postage. I have only posted the same one that had expired due to 25% offer removal with the correct details this time.

That lower alleged price was because of:
(1) an extra 10% off code that was then knocking around - and which people feared MIGHT disqualify from rebate/recycle ££, but in reality didn't based on all reports here, however that code was very quickly withdrawn.
(2) the listing cheats and claims the £10 refund allowance towards shipping the recycle/rebate monitor reduces the price of the NEW monitor - in reality it HOPEFULLY covers your shipping costs (unlikely if CRT monitor over 15").

So based on what one can buy TODAY, and ONLY today as the 25% reduction expires today per Dell site, this is the best price for this monitor - and a great price for a 21" IPS monitor, albeit one with a "funny" stand and no VESA/etc mountings (and you don't HAVE to use the touch feature for Windows 7!).

If you have evidence of a poster + group making incorrect/misleading postings here I think you should (a) name them for the benefit of others; (b) ask the site operators to remove them.

Meanwhile plenty of postings (hopefully not by liars) from the other rebate model - the "M" - that people after a 3 week inspection are starting to get their ££ recycle rebates confirmed, and not a single moan that their 25% (+10%) savings disqualified them!.

It's in the OP's posting, but like all first posts any weblinks are disabled (presumably to help this site get referral revenue to sustain the site (and their profit?).
rewardandrecycle.com/_Co…htm

From memory the things to be alert to are:
a) Making sure you do the paperwork the way they want it
b) Including the specified/required cables - eg power and video
c) Realising that just cuz it was working when it left you, it MIGHT not be working when it reaches their testing, and unfortunately there's no recourse if they so claim
d) Watching out for monitors being excluded from most couriers insurance coverage - Interlink direct were one of those identified as covering them - eg cost me c£12 for a 15" CRT with them - though many preferred to just chance it (As it seems they don't acknowledge receipt of the monitor for about 3 weeks - ie likely past the opportunity to claim against the courier anyway, maybe risking it with a cheaper courier is the way to go.)
MKD

I received my monitor last week - got it the last time it was on offer - quidco tracked straight away & I have sent an old monitor off for recycling - just awaiting the £90 cash back.
Dell confirmed by email that using the 10% voucher available last time would have invalidated the recyling offer.
The monitor is excellent - sets up straight away with Windows 7 & has HDMI,DVI & VGA inputs
In total if quidco pays it will have cost £82

wrong!! recycling IS guaranteed provided the monitor is working and has a power and connection cable eg vga cable

im waiting on 3 deals - have all monitors, quality of the ST2220M is pretty poor - had 2 replacements already!! then again they will hopefully only cost me £34ish each (£104 monitor -7.75 quidco -£70 recycle cashback inc £10 towards postage +£8 postage) - quidco should be nearer £9 though

however the st2220t in this thread is excellent - if you can live with the looks its an excellent monitor for the money - much better than the tn panel monitors - in fact thinking of getting another!!

i didnt bother with the 10% last time as when i ordered it wasnt clear whether you could use that discount and the t&c's indicated you couldnt - all my quidco has tracked - whether they pay is another matter

also, quidco is £14.57 NOT £18.67 on this monitor as its based on pre-VAT price - which is wrong as it should 15.56

royals

how can this be cold??!!

Well today it's not so much cold as EXPIRED as the 25% off has now expired as OP mentioned.
Back to £249.00 (for now) less any £back less any recycle/rebate.

HOWEVER the good news is that looking at the reward&recycle website Dell have EXTENDED the offer, it was due to run out (from memory) for purchased by end of July, with claims within 21 days of that. The dates are now purchase by 31 October + 21 days to claim, so more opportunity to watch out for a HUKD on the range of Dell products covered over the coming months.
