How will the spec affect the blu-ray??? I'm a beginner with this blu-ray business! Merry Christmas:santa:

Blu-Ray does need a fairly beefy (beefy by laptop standards at least - i.e. you'll need something other than inel onboard graphics) to play back properly being HD

Did anyone else manage to get them - they sold out at pc world too.

Have had another look to see if they are available anywhere else at this price...but alas no where near this price - sorry! Will keep looking and post on this thread if I find anything:thumbsup:

I got one yesterday from PC World - They only had them in Green for £499 - also the same story in Currys. Not fussed about the colour - Its not too bad!

Over 6 months old thread and just bumped up onto the hot list. Expired it.

Rubbish. Decoding is handled by the radeon graphics card.
Casino Royale plays back fine with no dropped frame at 1080p on a celery dual core with a radeon 2400 pro!

Edit, just noticed that date. WHY?
